Alina Zagitova

Fried - I'm not surprised at you. Not after your infamous post in another thread making ethnic slurs about Alina. With that kind of bigotry, why are you even in her fanfest?

Disgusting.

This claim is ridiculous and a lie. The opposite is true! A few days ago, a Russian poster claimed that Eteri preferred students with Tatar roots. I later winked at this nonsense. Precisely because I find such assignments stupid. Perhaps you hadn't read the posting I was referring to and misunderstood the matter. I think I have to be a little more careful when I don't write in my mother tongue. Please think about it. I don't know a single reason why I should attack Alina. I don't know a single reason why I should attack ANY other skater. I respect everyone. No matter which nation or coaching team he belongs to!

I apologize if I have expressed myself misleadingly and hurt feelings. That was not my intention. I found it really funny that due to the fact that Alina was no longer nominated, it was repeatedly stressed how unimportant the award is (which is of course true), while I am absolutely convinced that many posts would have been praised for a long time, she would have received an award. But I think fans don't understand fun here. As for Alina's appearance, I definitely put it wrong! She is a beauty. There is no doubt about that! My (fun-meant) answer only related to your posting. I wanted to express that a perfect body, or a perfect skin or a perfect face are just as meaningless in terms of a sporting achievement as an award. Nevertheless, these things are highlighted and cheered. So why shouldn't you be allowed to cheer for an award? Do you understand better now what I mean?

I added the missing "beautiful" in my post. If after this explanation you find that I have written something negative about Alina and that I should delete the posting, please let me know. Then I do it.

Why are you even here tho? Bored much?

As I understand, first one was "Alina Red", and this is a brand new one - "Alina Zagitova", right?

or they renamed it so folks know that it's not just any Alina, but Alina Zagitova that it's named after? :)

Maybe it’s just the way it will be lanced in Chinese market?

True. The color 580 is simply named as "Alina Zagitova" in China:laugh:
It's limited edition and sold well because one of Alina's Chinese fan said she bought the last one in the shop. They replenished the stock later.
I really want to buy one but unfortunately Shiseido doesn't sell it in US.:palmf:

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to find this thread:yahoo:
I'm really looking forward to the return of stunning Alina and new season (hope everything goes back to the normal soon:scratch2:).
Alina always shines like a diamond but I miss our beautiful girl fighting on the ice so much.
I notice that Daniil usually announces the music at the beginning of May or July. Hope we can know the music as soon as possible!!

I feel you. They also do not sell the lipstick in Germany.... such a bummer. Even asked costumer service if they will ever sell it here, but nope, they won't :(

Hi! And welcome to Alina's fanfest :)

Agree, Daniil needs to hurry up and give us some program news :(

Fried, I don't have a problem with you personally, I feel like you were pretty hurt with things in the last months going on with Sasha and Team Tutberidze, so I thought I wouldn't really react to things you write, because I understand your feelings.

But seriously, I feel like you sometimes write things that are intentionally veiled with passive-aggressiveness and in such a way, that if you answer - you will seem like a crazy one, and if you dismiss it - well, it still shows that it wasn't an innocent post, where you were just 'honestly wondering' or just 'making a fun joke' about something. But again, even pointing this out seems like an overreaction.

I usually sometimes make fun of things like 'micro-aggression', but I think there are cases where you really feel that something isn't right, but reacting to it would seem like you go overboard.

Anyways, I just wanted to ask you, that if you are really a fan of Alina, you should be able to express concern. If you're not, let it be an honest concern, and not some thinly veiled trolling.

I am so lucky I don't live in Japan - would be broke buying all the Shiseido cosmetics and Masaru dolls and T-shirts.

The new commercials are stunning. Now I am a huge fan of Shiseido, because they seem to really love and respect Alina.

I haven't been active here for a while, but have been reading and enjoying this thread tremendously. Thank you for keeping it alive and pretty!

Thank you for your frank words. I will just limit myself to Trusovas FF. This is the easiest solution.

I don't think this thread is a blinded Alina fans ghetto. Neither personally I want it to become. I consider it very open to other opinions (why not negative to Alina) thread even if it is FF. And as I said a couple of times, most people here are grown up, well educated, multinational/multicultural. So everyone is free to express his opinion. But let's not pretend that we were born yesterday and don't understand anything.
