Alina's interview to 1TV about her work in the Ice Age show
Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova spoke about her participation in the 1TV's show "Ice Age" as a host:
- Is it difficult to host the Ice Age show?
- I can say that it is very difficult, because for me it is a completely different role, but at the same time it is interesting. I am very grateful to all the people who help me here. And to Ilya Averbukh for saying that everything will work out for me, and for giving me the opportunity to try myself in a new role.
- Did you watch the show as a child?
- As a child, I did not watch Ice Age, but during the last two years I started watching it. And to get used to the role, I've watched the past seasons of "Ice Age", to understand the concept of this show. So I've watched the seasons I missed during my childhood.
- Which pair do you support?
- For me, all the couples are great fellows and fighters, because they just take hold of themselves and push forwards like tanks, despite the fact that something might hurt or not. Actors and famous people overcome themselves, it is worthy of praise and respect.
- Any advice on how to keep yourself in shape?
- I want to say that you always need to go in for sports, regardless of whether it is professional or not. This is your health, and health is the most important thing right now, so I advise everyone to go in for sports and be happy. Now it is very important in our world.

Alina takes Bronze in the amount of media mentions she got this month! -
Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova took third place in the number of mentions in the Russian media in September.
The rating, which includes representatives of culture, art and show business, was headed by actor Mikhail Efremov (13,528 mentions), the second place went to singer Alla Pugacheva (2561).
Zagitova, who ranked 11th in the ranking last month, received 1,896 mentions in the press.
Two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko took 5th position (1829), his wife - producer Yana Rudkovskaya - 11th (1311), choreographer Ilya Averbukh is 36th (547), commentator Dmitry Guberniev - 51st (420 ), Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin - 59th (370), champion of Turin-2006 Tatyana Navka - 88th (251).

So to clear the air about the people above Alina.
The reason there's a lot of media around Efremov - it's because he's a very famous actor, who's been on trial this year for involuntary manslaughter due to drunkdriving. The whole situation was incredibly publicized due to conflicting statements from his lawyer, him fainting in the courtroom. A whole show, if you ask me.
Alla Pugacheva - is probably the most famous singer Russia ever had, she's seen as a mother and head of russian show business. So she's always on the top.
Then there's Alina, who's just... sitting there, going to university, doing her first steps as a journalist in IA.
Yeah, the fame level is through the roof when the only people who can beat you are showbiz megamogul and the craziest scandal with drunkdriving.

To be honest, I was shocked by the rank and her popularity in Russia now. She always kept a low profile and literally said nothing while coaches/skaters/school manager were eager to create drama recently.
Maybe Russians find her true beauty by comparing her with drama makers. They really like her as a positive and influential celebrity.Anther shocking finding, Plushenko was only ranked 5th place...after he shocked everybody with too much transfer news and his new baby... Maybe that's why he and other coaches want Alina to corporate with them. Alina brings fame and money to them. That's why people keep making fuss about her.
The most interesting thing is, I don't think Alina cares about fame and popularity. However, I still hope the media and people around her treat her better and do not drag her into countless drama. She is not a girl who is eager to earn money and fame by showing off her personal life.

Alina just needs to keep doing what she is doing. For better or worse it seems to be working for her. I'm sure she will continue to be dragged into anything and everything possible because clearly her name is a draw. But as long as she doesn't engage with it (any more than absolutely necessary), and just keeps moving past the negativity and doing her own thing she will be okay. That is my hope anyway.
It is reassuring to see her happy and healthy in the middle of all this. Whether she is bothered by it or not she certainly never lets it show!
Also my apologies to the make-up artists at Ice Age. Alina's make-up looks much better on camera than it did in the IG photo. Shiseido can stand down. (that lip line was still crooked though
)

She also remindes me of Scarlett Johansson. They are both dominating ladies, sexy and cool.I think she also resembles Irina Shayk. I believe she is also Tatar.
