Alina Zagitova

Today, on Mother's Day, I want to remember this story. ⛸️The "Timekeepers" show, the mothers' act... Oh, it's not just an act – it's a portal to the very depths of the soul! 🫂It's a reminder of the power of love, the value of family, and that a mother's love is the most beautiful and priceless treasure in the world. On this day, I want to say a huge thank you to all mothers for their love, care, and devotion. Thank you for being there!❣️

Marie Claire is launching a digital project—MARIE CLAIRE DIGITAL TABLE-BOOK. This is a unique "magazine on a website" format. And Alina has great news - In this project, she filmed with her father for the first time and talked about their relationship, the values he instilled in her, and why she is a “daddy’s girl.”

Alina's message of support to Kaori "You are great. Arigato 🌸".
Alyssa used to cheer for Alina :), but Alina competed with Kaori both in juniors and in seniors and also performed with Kaori in quite a few shows in Japan.

Nice words from Alina towards Kaori. I hope she has good words for Alysa too.

Alina pretty much never comments on other skaters performances and competition outcomes. That was more of a message of personal support to a friend. I think the only time Alina publicly commented on an active competition was when she disagreed with the decision not to substitute Anna or Sasha for Kamilla in the free skate of the team event at the last Olympics so that one of them could also medal in the team event. Alina was visibly very happy when Anna won at that Olympics because they were friends from the age of like 12-13. But Alina did not give an interview about that or anything, the Russian figure skating community is already oversaturated with resident "talking heads". Oh and Alina is pretty friendly with Sasha as well, they both like dogs :) .

I did not know Alina questioned the Russian federation for not letting Sasha or Anna do the free skate in the team event when it was all over. And if they did they still would have easily won the team gold medal and even removing KVs short program the Russians would have had enough to keep the team gold medal. That was such an atrocious decision by whoever made it it's just unbelievable. The team gold medal meant so much to USA they made alias skate both events and the team event and then he bombed the free skate in the individual event probably worn out.

Yes Alina and Anna are very close almost like sisters probably. It's unfortunate that so many of the Russian girls and their careers so young. I remember Alina's performance 8 years ago in the Winter Olympics. It was unbelievable. Her technical excellence was almost perfect.

The Red Ballerina Day ❤️❤️❤️

That was not planned, coaches were not even watching. Funny how things work out, the coverage from the American and Japanese media before the free skate certainly helped. PS Watch the woman behind Alina during her combo 😲
