I think they changed the entry to 2 A for good and that she was planning a combo but decided to not make it as it was just a show.

Who knows? It might be, cause it has a lot of sparkle which reflect the light.
Anyway, I don't like the dress, it's way too traditional for this kind of programme.

Yes it seems to change from white to black when she touches it at the end. Never noticed it before. Maybe that's what they meant by costume change, very clever.

Designer of the dress is Ryabenko Olga, here http://navka-ice-queen.forumisrael.net/t790p180-topic she confirmed guesstimate of user max_maria that sequins change their direction, the idea was suggested by Alina's coaches. Probably one side of such sequin is white and another one is black.
As to my opinion, both the dress and the program are beautiful. But the color change is too limited and without a hint a very few of the viewers will notice it by themselves.

Exactly, without knowing that the colour is actually changing, nobody would guess that.
I personally would like another costume for the short programme, a dress more avant-garde .

Smart choice though. With the new 2A entry she has more momentum to the jump.
