Guys I have a question I found out that Alina is skating the last, what I expect. I know that the best skaters are in the last group (naturally) but I don't know on what the numerical order in the group depend? It depends on ranking, what the competition director want or its draw, or something else? I cannot found it, thx

I believe the flights are based on ranking, but there is a random draw within each flight to determine the order.

I wonder what the Olympics free skate would have looked like if Alina had skated last there.

I believe Alina had smashed it anyway. She knew Zhenya will be stunning when she entered the ice. There was no doubt, it was almost for sure. So if the had to skate the last, she wouldnt be in much different possition.

I believe Alina had smashed it anyway. She knew Zhenya will be stunning when she entered the ice. There was no doubt, it was almost for sure. So if the had to skate the last, she wouldnt be in much different possition.

I don't doubt Alina would have won. I just wonder what everyone's expressions would have been if Alina had been in K&C and Evgenia backstage hearing she was second.

BTW cannot we just skipt a coule of hours to have at least 15:00 tomorrow? Cant wait .. I have to study some law things for school but I know myself, I will refreshing pages about figure skating all day waiting for some news untill the competition finally starts and after studying at night and the same in friday

Today I had an 8 hour straight meeting so tomorrow I can play duck and cover through the morning and watch Alina live. All I want is to see her smile and enjoy herself, the rest is extra backloading bonus!!!

Wow! Never used a foam roller before! I just thought athletes stretch after exercise, but wow, they really do take care of their body so well. Good luck to Alina. I know she is the best of the bunch in that comp.
