She's doing something very different from last year when she was Olympic champion at 15 and had the best debut season ever and now it's 2 new programs much different music with no backloading and I admire that in her. Alina Zagitova seemingly changed on the fly and is still golden.

i agree with you, i think its great she's trying new things this year. i do think she will grow more accustomed to playing new characters as the year goes on, the music cuts were just really distracting and didn't go together. seemed very choppy and unorganized to me.

Alina was absolutely wonderful. Very impressed with that performance.
She was Carmen. Fabulous skate!
her interpretation changes with the music. really Beautiful.

Her TES this season is 83.54, compared to 81.62 at last years Oly's with backloading. I mean the rules have changed after she backloaded completely, but that don't bother Ms Alina one bit

I guess people are angry because they know..no one will beat Alina this season if she'll be clean

My friends, I'm so happy! For Alina, that she still has strong fire in her, for myself, because Alina's skating gives me a great joy, and for all of us, Alina's fans, who were so nervous and affraid!

I've seen it for the second time without nervousness. It is really beautiful full program. The changes of music give complete sense to me. It makes the program deeper, it brings several different moods into scene and Alina uses every opportunity to add something more. She seemed much more serene than yesterday, she skated with joy and smile on her face. The only thing for her is being calm and believe in herself, with that nobody can beat her now.
