Alina Zagitova

As nothing else matters for some time, I'll post this edit of Alina's hard work. Mostly known, but I've seen this particular video for the first time:

Thank you so much, flanker, I did not see this particular video either. Beside the fact that I admire Alina so much for her ambitious, hard-working spirit, there is another thing that always caught my attention in these kind of videos, and that is the amount of attention that Eteri's team pays to dance and ballet hours.

A couple of days ago I've read here on GS, but on another thread, some user who was complaining that in Eteri's team they only train the technical part, but that's not true at all.

There are so many videos of Alina and other skaters from their dance lessons, parts from their ballet lessons are also included in documentaries, proving their attention on every detail. Alina is so graceful and expressive, so all these lessons and her hardwork really paid off. :luv17:

Slanders who speak about something they don't know. No need to pay any attention to them.

Yes, the moves, the choreography, everything benefits from girls dancing abilities that are strengthened in training and dancing lessons, we have seen many of them.

I wonder if they'll ever compete together.

I can see the headlines...:

December 2022...RusNats..showdown between Alina Zagitova, double olympic champion (2018 and 2022) and her little sister, Sabina Zagitova, young prodigy, winner of JGPF from 2022.

Sounds pretty good

I saw this interesting observation on parallels between men's and ladies' singles at the Olympics being talked about elsewhere.

2010 men's: gold was controversial, silver went to the defending Olympic champion, bronze to the longtime skater.
2014 ladies': gold was controversial, silver went to the defending Olympic champion, bronze to the longtime skater.

2014 men's: gold went to the up-and-coming skater, silver to the one who dominated the previous quad, bronze to the world silver medalist from the previous season.
2018 ladies': gold went to the up-and-coming skater, silver to the one who dominated the previous quad, bronze to the world silver medalist from the previous season.

2018 men's: gold went to the defending Olympic champion.
2022 ladies: Alina's got it in the bag

I agree 100% with this scientific analysis.
No other logical conclusion can be reached.
:thank:
