Alina Zagitova

Does anyone know whether Alina did infact keep the costume change for her SP? I could’ve sworn she decided not to (and I haven’t noticed it on any of my streams - but I am streaming on a phone so that may explain things), but someone mentioned she does a change in her Black Swan?

Anyways, good luck to Alina for later today - eep, it’s almost here!!!

Oh, so that's it?! :yahoo:
How is she able to do that? :)

After watching the ends of her short programs a few times,it looks she is going from top of her Body down to her stomach shortly before the endposition with both her hands and changes the position from the sequins (pailettes) from the white side to the black.

Watching Alina's SP again and again I can see as calm she came to the rink (as never did before in this season), and her smile and joy in very first seconds of the program. She was the only lady who met the competition with pleasure and excitment. So others had no chance to win at that day.

Bravo Alina! 2018 Olympic Champion! :yahoo::clap:

What a wonderful and thoughtful save of combination in the most stressful moment of her life!
Sign of steel nerves and maestry! My deepest respect for 15yo kid!

It really is impressive the way she managed to develop and work on her nerves from the start of the season until these Olympics.

Now what I REALLY hope is that she does not disappear like some others and actually stays as a top competitor and continues developing and improving the sport as well as pushing it forward.
