And Eteri & Co are getting the new training facility. 3-4 times bigger than the good ol' Khrustalny ice rink. They gonna finish construction in 2-3 years.

Besti is TAT's pal and her ex-student. :) Partner in crime. Something TAT wants to say, but can't for some of reason, she proxies through her lady pals. They are usually quite and rarely make any statements/opinions for press, but when TAT needs to speak her mind she drags her girlfriends to the press and giving it straight, but just doesn't put her name under that. ;) Journalists are just doing what journalists should do - they are reporting. If an opinion-maker wants to give an opinionated point of view, it should be published. Believe it or not, but there is freedom of speech in Russian press, it is far from perfect (but where is?), and it can be sometimes pretty narrow when it comes to certain subjects. Not too many thou. :) So, here we have to ask Besti and TAT themselves why they are so bored with their lives on retirement and why is that they think that only they know what is best for particular skater? And ask them to stop their gossiping through their old friends in Russian sport journalism. ;)

TAT is the éminence grise of ALL figure skating. Love her or hate her, but this is the way she is. Always was. It took the president himself to spank her slightly (in the most respectful way possible) and politely ask her to stop her usual crap/intrigues at least for Sochi-2104. But she was back to her own self immediately shortly after Olympics 2014. :D We remember her pushing Lenok Radionova for national team, even there was a better girl that time. She likes to lobby for her long-time girlfriends students and put them in competitions and shows.

Well, we all know her modus operandi. She does not like how skater is being trained or music/choreo selected for her/him - she goes to midwifing of moving this skater to another coach. She does not like all that extra weight (according mainly to her, of course) on Lena Radionova - she fat shames her in prime-time live on national TV with tens millions of viewers watching figure skating competition. Etc etc etc. The list of her hilarious mischievousness is long. Like we have not seen already in the past on many occasions how TAT being TAT?

We all love TAT to pieces. Even you. You adore her too. Even if you are currently mad at her for her criticizing your favorite skater or paying less attention to her and praising less than others - you still love TAT. Trust me. She makes FS even more exciting. She is like that 'DRAMA' button when you need one. :biggrin: In her eyes her taste and opinion is certainly the one and the only one which righteously matters. Oh, and she certainly never ever admitted she was wrong or made a mistake. :)

Love her or hate her, but this is TAT. TAT is TAT. FS world would be boring without her. Cant live with her, cant live without her. She is like a weather you cant change, but can just humbly accept that, come back home to grab an umbrella and keep on rolling.. :dev3:

I want Ted, TAT, and Tara to commentate together one day. Watching Ted call every skater delightful, TAT call every skater fat, and Tara try to bring up her 3Lo-3Lo every time the other two talk is my idea of fun.

Tara has way too much modesty to bring it up herself!!!!

This time he succeeded, I guess because it was the medal ceremony.

Who is that guy actually? I saw him at Rostelecom also a few weeks ago. Do they have the same security ppl at every competition regardless of the country? This is weird af :laugh:

I guess he is just a volunteer, who keeps volunteering for FS events. (and well done him for that! :) )

Are you sure? Stepanova at least posted a video to her stories where she is riding on a car in city street with tons of snow on the sides of it.

Going to LA would be a great idea, btw, closer but with warmer weather. I hope RusFed gets everyone a ticket and arranges a facility for them all to train there (like they did with facilities in Japan during the Olympics).
