I love the height she is getting and the beautiful position in the air.
I sincerely hope she is able to add the 3A to her arsenal.
It will be very exciting.

I think so too, she is looking so good in this off ice attempt, which I imagine is hard in its own account because you only get the speed you are able to jump into, no glide at all, and very short set up. Also the fact that she allowed it to be filmed....means a huge amount.

Uncle Sergei's 3A Class, defense against the dark arts.

By her mastery of the other triples I'd say Alina deserves to add to her collection the only one missing from her arsenal.

It will be so cool to see her develop it.

Let's wait and see.

I hope she does. I really do.

Until I saw this, I didn't think it was possible because her 2A is not that high.
But her vault into the jump here looked really strong.
I don't know how it translates to the floor to the ice.
And, of course, having it part of a program.
And... landing it consistently.

I don't care if she telegraphs the jump for 10 seconds at the beginning of her program.
Alina with a triple axel would be the coolest thing ever.
