Hey, guys, I was watching some Alina content on YouTube and I found out that there were a TV channel in Brazil that broadcast the Grand Prix Final. I was so surprised because I’m from Brazil and I had no idea and end up watching online. Anyway, the commentators were so so so nice and said amazing things about Alina, so I though about sharing it with you guys.
I recognized one of the commentators: he was a ISU international judge and now works as commentator. I remember him because he said beautiful things about Alina at the Olympics broadcast on this same channel. And he also commented the Olympics in Sochi. (he always coments in figure skating broadcasts)

About the short program they said that Alina has a beautiful face, espetacular interpretation and called her a princess. The former international judge said that she has sensitivity and gets involved with the program and that her program is very very well choreographed, full of transitions. They liked the Charlotte spiral into the double axel. They also said that her dress matches the Phantom theme very well. The international judge, at the end, said that Alina’s triple flip is beautiful. And the other one said that Alina has a angelic face.
They also explain that Rika has a more difficult technical content with her 3A and that Alina could probably end up second.

“Amazing. She danced Carmen, a acclaimed opera by Bizet that tells the story of a gypsy in Seville. This red and black outfit is all about flamenco. She fits the costume... her expression as a gypsy that seduces everyone with that sarcastic smile. She lived this performance. I loved it.”
The international judge agreed:
“The interpretation was extremely well studied. Very good countenance. The key is the skill that this girl has. It is impressive. She is an Olympic champion with merit.”
He also mentions that she doesn’t have a big set up before the jumping passes, she jumps out of nowhere. And that he knows that she can spin better than she did do at this program and everything else but the 3LzLo was beautiful.

They are tight Eteri rides Alina hard but it's okay she can handle it. It's the Russian way. They expect coaches to be strict with them and tough on them it's not a big deal to them. If the great Eteri was coaching an Amerocan Girl they might call the police on her. Lol. Zagitova accepts the tough treatment and doesn't blink a bit.

Worlds, maybe. At least I don't remember other competition where Alina would be crying openly. She was sad in Finland after SP, but not this way.

Outstanding performances, a well-deserved winner... and what a priviledge to have been there when she broke all the junior records...

At just 14, she has so much potential... very interested to see what the future holds for Alina...

This poster had Alina Zagitova pegged correctly thank God! This poster wondered about the future when Alina was 14 the future is probably even brighter than this poster ever imagined.

Can I just take a moment to show how I haven't followed figure skating in a long time and admittedly didn't start again until the Olympics this year?

In Alina's Black Swan program, I never noticed (until just now) what she does with her costume to show the transition from white to black (the way she smooths the sequins to the other side). I must've watched that program from a million angles dozens of times over the year and didn't take in the significance of it. I always just thought "what a program!" and "what a beautiful outfit with black and white!"

I know you all must've spoken about it ad nauseam last year, but I'm just so blown away by the detail that Eteri, Daniil, the costume designer, etc. though of for this program.
