How so? I believe that it's almost the same. I guess it's worth 0.1 points more in BV in the free but on the other hand, the points are essentially only half as valuable so you could argue that the benefit is greater to doing it in the SP than the FS(at least in relation to PCS). As such, why do you feel this way? What am I missing? I only see an additional 0.1 points of BV benefit, or 0.11 points on the second half.
If she switches to 3Lz+3T in the free, that means she can no longer do a second 3F since she's doing two lutz's and two toes. That reduces the BV by 1.1. That's actually pretty small so I overstated it by my phrasing, so not a significant advantage but we've seen competitions decided by less. Partially this depends on the GOE she gets on a solo triple loop since that's what has to replace the second flip. I guess my point was that there is *some* advantage to doing the combo in the free and it makes sense to train only one triple-triple combo. I'd personally switch to 3Lz+3T in both if it's a more consistent jump though.
