Alina Zagitova

Eteri does have a specific sense of humor, kind of like Dr House from the TV series, I find lots of things she says to be very funny.

And she even acknowledges that like in this quote ""I train with irony, and even if I say something offensive, it's a joke. A vulnerable, intimidated, beloved home child with me will be hard, and those who come to the training for the first time and do not close up on the jokes - that's my guys."

Oh yes - I actually appreciate someone with this kind of humor
Now the question is - which one of her skaters is "Thirteen"????

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] that made me laugh so hard.

I think she will be more likely to get a Cameron, those kids are all super compassionate. I’d go with Camerons and Chases.

:laugh2: That would be too good!!! He'd be the perfect Wilson. Who would be Cuddy? Sergei? He does seem to have a Cuddy vibe, serious, committed, conscientious....

Noooo way... I vote against...
What is that :unsure::
He (Wilson) has been married and divorced three times. He has had an affair with one of his terminally ill patients and dated one of House's rejected applicants

Well - that's perfectly normal behavior for a doctor on a television medical drama. Would have even been better if he had remarried one of his ex wives!:agree:

Oh I wasn’t thinking of any of the characters in terms of their fictional personal lives. More along the lines of: Wilson - calm, cool, compassionate, careful, quiet; Cuddy - level headed, calm, strong, capable, in charge; Cameron - full of empathy, compassionate, caring, calm; and so on.

Guys, SOI Japan will air another TV version of their show, 4 hours long called the extended version.

They announced that they will air an interview with Alina after showing her EX program (I think it’ll be the Yokohama SOI TV live version of the program though they are showing some skaters’ programs from the Osaka show).

Here are the broadcast details: May 4 at 12:00-16:00 Japan Standard Time, on TBS2

Alina really works hard and gives it her all! [emoji471]

At around 45:12 in the Zhenya video, I hear Eteri say “Zagitova” and from my very limited reading of the Japanese subtitles, I see the word “perfect”. Was Eteri praising Alina and saying that her performance was perfect? [emoji847]

Eteri was talking about ladies free skate at Europeans Champ. Zhenya had to perform after Alina's perfect skate, knowing that and hadn't right to do even small mistake.

Aww, that's so cute  It makes me really happy that people pay credit to the whole coaching team (even to the designer of the dresses) and not only Eteri because everyone has contributed to the success of those girls!

I totally agree... the work of each of them is extremely important for the skaters' success. I may say that I have the same appreciation for them - as the creators and people behind- as for the skaters themselves.

Thank you for this account of Alina's hard work. Her work ethic is amazing and she takes great care to treat each performance with all seriousness to make sure she can give a great skate. That shows a lot of respect for her craft and for the audience.
