That is a really great video, so glad the fan clubs recognized all the team that works with Alina and also her family.

It truly takes a village to raise a champion and Alina shows that she has learned a lot (about work ethic and values too) from all the team that supports her. They deserve a ton of applause.

Now I am sooo curious to see her new SP! I think she will depict Christine perfectly and show some drama on ice
So the theories that she will keep doing ballet based programs or keep the SP aren't true. I would actually be happy if she had kept the ballet as her signature (and I wanted to see her as Giselle!) but maybe a season doing entirely different stuff would really be refreshing for her and for us, the fans.

I wish her good luck with her new short program and hopefully it will win her many titles and hopefully could even beat the world record of the Black Swan. ^^

I just saw Daniil's post too and I am so happy about this. Last month i've read the book the second time, I know it's a classic, but it's one of my favourite books. It's a classic, dramatic and emotional and it can really represent a turning point for Alina's artistical skills. She can really prove what she is capable of and I'm sure Daniil's choreography and the choice of the dress will just complete an amazing program. Now I'm more impatient (if that's really possible) than ever for the new season to begin. She will be majestic :luv17::luv17:

The picture is great.... the music-I cannot say that I'm very excited with the choice, but why not? And as you said, team Eteri usually re-interprets the music and gives it a different flavor.

I hope the rule changes won't affect the layout of SP somehow (as there are rumors that SP would be modified into "interpretation skate").

That's so true..and I'm thinking just how many versions and reinterpretations of this song are. So yes, we know the theme, but actually we will probably be suprised anyway with the outcome. And from team Eteri I expect nothing else but memorable.

I like the model and the colours of Meryl's costume.
I think Alina should change the hairstyle, maybe some loose curls with a romantic vibe?

Well for Christine Daae I suppose white and burgundy are the most used colours (or blue, like Gracie Gold, but I don't think they will go with this), even though everything is possible. Anyway I expect the dress to be a little more elaborate, as I've seen Olga Ryabenko's dresses..

I would prefer without vocals.

It's just the short so she'll be fine anyway... And they used well known music in the past for her and it worked amazingly well.

Well, well, well, exciting news. Daniil’s photo is beyond great by the way.

If she is getting a new SP than she is definitely getting a new FS too. So two new programs. Exciting.

I’m not a big Phantom fan, the only music I really still like is “Music of the Night” and “All I ask of you”. Saw that play too many times with too many relatives. On the plus side, Alina will be skating it and I’m always moved by her programs so I’m excited to see what it’ll look like.

I know she is going to be beautiful though.

Since Alina’s coloring is very similar do Emmy Rossum’s that palete would work super great on her too. Bonus points for red flower on her hair and letting it be partially loose (like in the Dream and End bits of SOI).
