Formally probably yes, but I very doubt they would do that without a suggestion of a coach, he/she knows the results, the performances during trainings etc.

Because they were after the medal,they want that Gold so badly and investing on zhenya alone is not a smart way. Even if zhenya is not injured they will still push alina to have a shot on that gold,rather than zhenya only. If alina stayed in junior they just let the door wide open for the canadians and japanese to snatch the gold.

Well this is big news about Alina's teammate and friend. I think a few posts on a thread with thousands is okay to mention another skater who is very relevant to Alina.
And she refused to comment on whether she did say that stuff about Alina or not.
