Judging in figure skating has always been unpredictable and is not always clear to ordinary people, now it will be even more unpredictable and the field for corruption will expand..imho

By the way, what do you think about the new BV for the jumps, if have seen it already? Basically - BV is lowered, but by widening GOE it can do more now (or less of course). So it will more depend on the judges now. Good or bad?

Was just checking the new one vs the old one. They lowered the Base Value of all 3s and 4s (except 3F, why???).

Jump BV Was 17-18 / Is now 18-19
3T 4.3 / 4.2
3S 4.4 / 4.3
3Lo 5.1 / 4.9
3F 5.3 / 5.3
3Lz 6.0 / 5.9
3A 8.5 / 8.0
4T 10.3 / 9.5

Edited to add: my posted table looks awful. Anyway, first number is old BV and second number is new BV.

Of the top of my head I'd say they lowered the BV of Alina's signature combo by some 0.2 on the Loop and 0.1 on the Lutz. And she is the only one currently doing it in Senior Ladies.

Why ISU???? WHYYYYYY??? Well, the quad people are even worst out.

With the new range of Grade of Execution -5/+5 I'd say people will be less encouraged to attempt a jump they might bomb on, "I fell/Stepped Out/Wobbled but rotated it" are not going to be worth it.

- On GOE (grade of execution) on the current system -3/+3, Alina never got a +3 score on her combo 3ltz+3lo but consistently gets +2 on it, her 3Ltz on its own nearly got into +3 territory (at Olympics FS, was 0.1 shy). On the new system I'm guessing scored will vary (meaning her current awarded scores are not an example to fit her in the new table) if they were, she'd be between a +3 and a +4.
- Her 3F got a +3 grade of execution (at Olympics SP), which now that same number score would be a +4. Well she has a great 3F, guess I'll stop complaining about that flip BV after all.

Thanks!)) For sure I have on my local PC full set of videos and full metadata of videos. I am uploading only the videos about Alina. Each video first of all is uploading without publishing. So all autostrikes automatically have apllied to the hidden video that allows me to avoid getting autostrike trying to publish the video. So, I plan to be very carefull all the way.) Yes, torrent may be the alternative way.

I loved that video someone posted yesterday where you could hear her laughing in the background.

Great personality and nothing is ever forced.

Why the heck they gotta lower everything [emoji23] can’t they just keep the base value the same and only make changes to GOE [emoji23] in my dreams

Yup, US Post put the fear of god in me about what exactly was in that envelope (it looked bulky, had some stickers), they kept talking about customs and this and that, took it over a week to actually leave the US, but once it hit Russia it moved fast....then....it cleared customs fast....got to the post office in Moscow and for some reason was listed as a missed delivery (person not there). Now on my tracking it is marked as sitting in the post office, addressee being notified to pick it up at the post office. Sad to put people through so much trouble, will see if it ever moves as delivered/picked up, if it doesn't will try to send it again but will completely take her name out of the address (maybe this was the reason it wasn't just dropped of, although I sent it to Sambo, did put her name below theirs).
