How many of us professionally understand figure skating, professionally, at the level of trainers, choreographers? I do not think that many. Trainers and choreographers do not visit this website.

Why do many people consider that it is normal to speak so negatively without seeing the program? It is not the final variation, what they showed us. They have two months to polish the programs.

Thanks a lot! That's such a cute post, I love it, too, when they're simply having fun. Like the video with the tissue she posted. She looks so happy there and while I adore competitive Alina and fierce Alina and serious Alina, happy Alina is my favourite! Makes me think of the moment when she jumped onto that Olympic podium with that huge grin on her face, pumping her fist and finally letting out all her joy like "I DID IT!"

This forum is to comment on skaters. Even though it's not the final version, you can still comment your thoughts, based on what you see, what the skaters put out there. And you can give criticism and still be respectful; I don't see any disrespectful comments in this thread. Everyone can give their opinion, that's also what this forum is for, and that means all opinions, not just the one you agree with. As long as it's not done in the style of Ashley Wagner, there's no problem with it. This is a fanfest, but no one is saying anything negative about Alina, just opinions on choreography and music cuts. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to like every. single. thing. all. the. time. As a matter of fact, that's not what a fan is at all.

I realized that Danill reused last year's step sequence in the first step sequence of POTO SP... That's what got to me subconsciously. I think danill reuses alot of step sequences from previous years. Starting from 17 Jr SP

I think her SP is meh but she will still get good scores as long as she skates well. To be honest, if there is a season to have not good programs this is this season. Post Olympic trauma. :roll9: Hope that her LP will be better.

I saw a japanese fan commenting on twitter that Alina has a special seal for Masaru now. May be it means "Masaru".

Yes, the label says "Masaru", but the stamp itself looks different. Maybe some traditional variant of the same character? I even tried Kanji recognition, but couldn't make anything remotely resembling the original, even with ignored stroke order.

hmm... I think this SP is not so bad. Just that I find the music cut strange. Also, that part of "Think of me", I cannot help but compare to Kanako's performance which she interpreted very well and here Alina doesn't. But I do think this program is still developoling and so is Alina's interpretation, so I look forward to the adjustments.

I also hope the FS is better though.
