Alina Zagitova

It's not about that, but about the music cuts... for example, i don't understand why there is the need for a special music cut just for a spin, after the vocals. In my view, it's useless and it just disrupts the program. Let's say that the others music cuts are justifyed as the character passes through moments of fear and love.

all videos do not have good sound. Just try to listen this one, somebody removed all noise : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_iW8SUBU-0A actually it sounds good, at least for me and some other fans.
It wasn't even test skating (it will be on September 9th, I think) it was on a show. all programs were all programs were lighter, just for the first "feel" of program.
Let them finish a work and after that we can criticize.

This forum is to comment on skaters. Even though it's not the final version, you can still comment your thoughts, based on what you see, what the skaters put out there. And you can give criticism and still be respectful; I don't see any disrespectful comments in this thread. Everyone can give their opinion, that's also what this forum is for, and that means all opinions, not just the one you agree with. As long as it's not done in the style of Ashley Wagner, there's no problem with it. This is a fanfest, but no one is saying anything negative about Alina, just opinions on choreography and music cuts. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to like every. single. thing. all. the. time. As a matter of fact, that's not what a fan is at all.

I agree "Everyone can give their opinion" but I do not feel good when people give advises, such us 'this music cut is not good, it would be better if Daniil change it or I hope he will change it" and so on. I was referring to this kind of comments. I don't think that he has to change anything, this is his vision and if someone do not like it or do not understand it, what can he do? we are all different. No one director will change anything on Broadway show just because some of us do not like it.

That was great. But why would three people give it a thumbs down? I mean if I don't like a performer or athlete I don't go watch their video.

I don't know, it sounds like saying "I hate 50 shades of gray, but I've never read the book" at this point the opinion expressed is invalid... but I can tell you that 50 shades of gray sucks because I've read it.

P.S. It's not just Koreans ;)

It's like me and Star Wars saga

For the good mood, small olympic repetition (probably already posted here but I just needed a little of olympic champion):

I just love this video... It's amazing how her best performances are from the OG, great mental state. And the purple boards highlight even more her Black Swan and DQ dresses. By the way, don't you think that Alina is just stunningly beautiful at the official medal ceremony at the Olympics? If I recall correctly, she and her grandmother keep a photo of her with her shiny gold medal at the ceremony in their kitchen in Moscow. It is also one of my favourite photos of Alina.

I think I saw such picture. or maybe I saw it in one of those japanese coverages from their Moscow flat. And yes, on the medal ceremony we can see pure happiness in her face (excl. that part when she is forced to hear olympic anthem :) ). She knew she deserved it, she is rightfully proud on herself. Alina is one of those people to whom you really wish success, because seeing them happy is making you feeling happy too.

Such beautiful memories! It was a spectacular and emotional season, that reached its peak at the Olympics. :luv17: Time is flying, and I can not believe that the off-season is almost over and a new one will begin. A new season with many accomplishments for our Alinka, and even more great moments :luv17:

And to bring my contribution to the positive vibe that's embracing Alinka's fanfest:

a little late but i just got around to watching the new PoTO programme! and i can't say i love it 100% or that its a perfect programme but the Think of Me segment really blew me away, especially the 2nd The Ice performance. The step sequence there is exquisite imo, and i know lots of people seem to not like the fact that she doesn't seem to hold her positions long enough, but in that segment the fluidity of all her movements there was really great to see. it really reminded me of a ballerina dancing on the ice, as opposed to how some skaters tend to remind me of gymnasts with how pose-y the sometimes get. that segment also really highlights her skating skills? I do think this is a programme she will grow into and I'm quite excited about it tbh. She's already grown so much since olympics and there is such an ease and confidence about her now that she didnt have before that I can't wait to see what else she might do

I've just seen it, let us hope this will not be regular part of her life :)

By the way, Alina walking like a boss before canadian team at the Olympics (it should be team event):

I think she is pretty safe from being a regular target of "paparazzi like" photos, and I'm glad for that, wish her to have a normal life and be able to go about her day without being harassed.
