I've heard from other people that she is a huge Eteri hater but tbh i'm not bothered by the criticism towards the program itself. It's not a dig at Alina personally and definitely nothing we haven't heard this summer from skating fans since the program was first revealed. It seems to be a program that is received with divided opinions. I've already accepted that not everybody will like it. I'm glad she skated perfectly. That's what matters the most. Judges will decide if the program is worth good PCS scores. There's nothing else we can do but wait to see how it's received in competition.

Such vicious commentary. It's outrageous. I'm sad for our Olympic champion that she has to put up with such vitriol. I hear she skated well in her short program. No surprise. If Alina Zagitova Olympic champion did not like the music or new program she would have just said so and they would have gotten other programs. At some point she's going to have to make a decision to go to a coach who will make her her star pupil and focus everything on her. I get the feeling that coach eteri and her staff always preferred Evgenia over Alina are already pushing the three great Juniors up to Alina's level before they've done anything. At some point the 2018 Olympic champion needs to have the main focus on her. If they are really propping up Sasha at the expense of Alina Zagitova Olympic champion then Zagitova needs to make them pay for that and I think we all know what that means.

Zhutkie rozochki (sinister, atrocious little roses) is a line from the Soviet comedy Office Romance (Sluzhebnyi roman). The receptionist is referring to a woman wearing "a blouse with vulgar roses on it." Í'm not Russian, so I'm not an expert on the cultural nuances and references, but I guess Vait is calling the program (and perhaps even the costume) garish

Thank you for the translation. More or less what I thought. IMO - "creepy roses" most likely refers to the program too. I don't even know if she was wearing her costume for this. I think if she was, there would have been some sort of "buzz" about it.

We have yet to see her FS. I'm not the biggest fan of the music cuts in the SP but i keep hope. Plus everybody has been complaining about the other Eteri girls's programs too. It's not like they're choosing to give Alina bad programs. We don't even know if Alina herself likes or dislikes the program so let's try and stay calm. Don Quixote was heavily criticized too.

I've read some feedback on twitter, they say the program is still awful... I ####ing hate that!! Why can't she have a beautiful program like she deserves? It's already so hard, I want to see her shine, not get some bit of what she could be with a better choreo :sad4:

Nobody of those similar people still pointed what that "she deserves" means. By the way do you really judge it just by "some feedback on twitter"? Is just that what makes you using "I ####ing hate that"? And again, Ï wonder why I see "fans" like you only when they write they hate something. So far about the warning "remain positive" I received.

I'm not familiar with her and tbh i'm not going to spend my time raging on everybody who drags Alina anymore. I for now am just trying to focus on the positive. She landed a difficult layout perfectly, that's good. Nothing we can say is gonna change Vait's (or anybody else who hates her program) opinions. We can even stay here and complain about the program being "trash" but it isn't going anywhere. She'll compete with it. We accept it and move on. And maybe pray the FS receives better reviews!

Daniil expended all his efforts on Trusovas programs this year.

Why do you think? I liked Shcherbakova's and Kostornaia's programs more from what we have seen yet, but I couldn't say that I would consider some of those programs as done with more effort, thats pure nonsence. Or do you have something like number of hours Daniil spent on whitchever of them? Seriously anybody is entitled to have an opinion of his own, but I consider it interresting that those self-claimed fans who so loudly express their dislike appear here just for expressing the dislike, no other opportunity attracts them

My thoughts exactly, we need to ignore haters. Alina's SP is good and very difficult, with lots of transitions.

Eteri guiding her with hands movements at the end was so cute! I must say i'm kinda getting used to it! i find that the program itself looks really promising and Alina seems to have adopted it. It's the music cuts that bother me but as long as i focus on following her beautiful gliding on the ice i can almost forget the music! go Alina
She went into her jumps with no hesitation! That 3F landed perfectly on time with the music :luv17: and the charlotte to 2A

Thank you for clarifying. "She deserves better" means "I personally want something and I did not get it". Well, I on the other hand completely accept when somebody says "This is not my personal taste" or something like that (that's e. g. my personal attitude towards this season's Trusova's programs). But I really don't like when someone's personal taste is taken as some kind of a benchmark (therefore I would never write "Trusova deserves better" just because she uses music I don't like much or thematically does not suits me. It is my personal matter, not a benchmark of what anybody desires). "deserves better" means something objective, not just unfulfilled desire of anyone.
