Same here, I think Alina will grow with each competition that she'll attend. As the time will pass, she will have enough time to practice more the FS. Her SP (which was constantly presented in ice shows and rehearsed more) was clean at test skates, even though Alinka was suffering from an allergy during the SP test skates, as I've found out from this article https://www.ifsmagazine.com/2018-russian-test-skates-review/. (she is really tough, she seemed in top shape during the SP) :eeking:

I agree with lesnar001's jump layout, it seems to be her planned layout, very ambitious and difficult, but I did not expect less from our Olympic Champion.:luv17:

I don't know what happened during the last pages of this fan fest, but guys, it's a celebration time. The off-season is over, and we will able to cheer for our Alinka in her first competition from this season in less than two days (still can't believe it :cheer:). Let's enjoy this moment, hope for the best for our favourite skater and gather on Thursday to root together for her :hap36:

I don’t think she will, unless her signature combo becomes so unreliable she can’t trust it all, for now it doesn’t look this way. It will be lowering her tech bar, not upping it.

I wonder if Alina will upgrade to that in the future.

I probably didn't write properly what I mean. She did 3Lz-3Lo at the beginning and 3Lz-3T during bonus part. I meant that she could move her iconic combo to the bonus part and put the other at the beginning of the program :)

Another curiosity point!!

I don’t think she’ll be in a tutu since she moved out of the ballet theme (ballerina box moment in POTO notwithstanding).

Since we’ve seen some girls already with the classic Carmen look (red flower in hair, dark dress with some red), albeit they are using it for tango, maybe they’ll do something different there.

I’m curious too!

Totally agree. Alinka's Protection Squad needs to be there :biggrin: Unfortunately Thursday I will be at work during the SP, but I will do my best to be as active as possible; but Saturday will be a totally different story. :cheer: :biggrin:

She did and she looked like a million bucks too.

Not sure they’d do it for Alina back to back after a season of wearing them in two programs, but she looked like a fairytale last season so I’d be happy. Still sad we probably won’t see that Black Swan amazing dress ever again.

I expect to be on forum duty Thursday for the SP, time zone will work to my advantage (or so I seem to think now).

I'm at work too on thursday, but that won't stop me. Then at the evening I will go to the dentist so I need some positive moments before :laugh:
 
I will be at work as well. Probably will book a meeting room to watch the SP. As for black swan maybe she will do it as an EX sometimes among another new one.

When I am in a bad mood Alinka's Don Quijote always lifted my spirits. I am sure POTO and Carmen will belong in the same category of "things we need to see when we need more positiveness in our lives" :biggrin:

And if you have a dog, you should be able to bring your dog to work ---- just like Alina does :cool2:
