Alina Zagitova

Can't see the picture (deleted already?) but that's probably for the best. I don't want to see Alina sad.

Leoleo, I need to know who you're following on twitter.

the wrong people it seems! :palmf: so much drama! as soon as her name was no longer on the list, everybody was already like "omg i knew it, i knew eteri would f* her up, i bet she's injured! what did eteri do to her this time?" and now they're all like "i don't buy the visa issue" :drama: i guess now i know who to unfollow

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] we missed our chance to finally have some insider information.

You were Petruccio ready to tame Catharina and now it’s all lost.

I get your frustration and thank you for the laughs.

You're welcome

Ok, let's be positive. She is healthy. It must be very frustrating when you're prepared for competition and something you can't change will step into wour way. But young people easily recover from such things. Just don't hear those who were satisfied with it and burn all frustration during training. :agree:

permission are made by parents.
a single misspelled or mistyped word can cause a problem.
Or just an inconsistency in spelling of the name in Latin letters (needs to match passport spelling not ISU's invitation) or an inconsistency in declension of her name in a sentence.

But shouldn't someone at Sambo70 ideally be vetting all of these before they get submitted for to get the visa and get seals on them?

I'm not comfortable with trying to find someone to blame or trying to create a drama.

Anna herself is showing the right attitude.

I'm glad to see her instagram story.

She'll be OK. As Forest Gump says.... "S*#& Happens"

Wowee - Masaru is so big now:)

Could she perhaps participate in another challenger event? Or is it too late to register for another one?

No idea about the registration red tape (like if you at least need to be on the sub list to be added last minute).

She can go to Germany (end of next week), Finland (the other after that) crashes with Japan Open.

When I'm depressed with such people's comments, I have always to remind myself those talks won't change as things really are, that it doesn't matter what those people say.

This came up for me as "page not available". Not sure if this happened to others too.

Here is another link with the picture....

:agree: to Alina for posting this.

It must have been hard for her to pose for this, but she is letting her fans know she is OK.

This is disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing her. At least Masaru is happy.

PSA - Muting people on twitter is amazing. They disappear like they were never there. It is therapeutic :)

I feel badly for Alina to have to miss competition over such a dumb oversight. That's all this is, someone messed up. I don't think there is any hidden meaning in this.

Hopefully it just makes her even more focused for Japan. I hope she doesn't stress about it too much.

This is the sweetest thing....

Hanka Čermáková, a young Slovakian skater made a doll as a present for Alina.

It's too bad that she won't get to see Alina now at this competition :sad21:

I still remember how surprised i was when I found out at the airport that my new passport was incorrectly filled-in by issuing authority. Even though I was 25 y.o at that time...
I've cried in frustration. I can imagine how Alina felt. :(

i'm just glad she isn't injured, and i'm sure this will be a blessing in disguise some way.

I remember her, she made some great pictures of Anna and other skaters during JGP Slovakia. Red ballerina doll is cute, I hope she will be able to send it to Alina some other way :luv17:
