Ok guys, I just saw Gala. I'm late but I had my own race, so unfortunatelly I must wait for Alina.
This. Was. Amazing. There is no more little girl Alina, the kid who won Olympic and was a littly shy. She grown so much, physicaly and psychicaly, too. Now there is charismatic, strong, fierce, conflident young woman who now she is beautiful. To be honest, I don't like her ex gala so much, It was weird. But this?
They showed her strong sides, all her weapons are here, she is powerful, her speed is brutal, and what is the most important - she really enjoy herself. She was born for spotlights, she want to show herself and show her best, like her jumps - spectacular.
(Am I the only one who actually think that every jump she did is better than previous one? That height - come on!) If anybody still dont realize after Carmen that she still ahve this drive in her eyes and is hungry for victories, he must realize it now. Plus the audience love her, not every skater has this magic. It's a big gift.
And to the shits she is just Eteri's robot, she has no voice, Eteri just abuse her etc. .. is evident that Alina really love her programs, she is smiling during Carmen and happy and passionate as Lara Croft, POTO was a challenge for her as she admitted but it push her to new heights. And this **** that she give her this gala just to speak throw her .. this is not the program you can give a lot of girls (and It's nothing to discredit them ..just the same as not every actress can play it, or generally - not every woman has that drive), when you see like she act - it definitelly was not just one of Eteri's intrigues.
At the end - I think this will be very interesting season to watch Alinas growth in those programs.
