Dear friends, I couldn't invest much time in figure skating these days but I finally managed to read almost all the posts in this thread, I must read a few pages between 470 and 485I am so happy that the fandom is expanding and more and more people start to understand that Alina isn't going anywhere this season - she is staying and fighting.
Japan Open was delightful, I am sure Alina will think fondly of this event, and more importantly, will come back in March to Saitama with good memories and ready to get her gold medal!
Meanwhile, I can proudly announce that I made a new fan of Alina and figure skating! A classmate of mine told me he wants to come with me to the GP in Helsinki so we have the whole journey fully organized and I still can't believe it. I mean, he is a typical boy who is interested in football and airplanes [emoji23] and after my incessant talking, talking, takling for months now about Alina, Eteri's wonders, all the dramas and the Olympics, he started asking questions about the rules and standings and he even wants to marry Zhenya
But he is becoming a fan of Alina and understands what she has to overcome, I made sure to tell him her Cinderella story. Maybe you can count me in your Alina's Witnesses group? [emoji23]

That’s what I thought, too. When a boy that usually only is interested in football and stuff suddenly wants to accompany you to a figure skating event, it’s a bit suspicious.
But congrats for making a fan anyway... whether it’s of you or our Alina! Or maybe both after GP Helsinki.

And now to the video: thanks Fruitpie.
I know what this is!!! It’s Taikukaii TV, that same show where she did the slalom bottle challenge, and now we know the reason she had her tiger costume near her bags as she was packing in that Masaru, Iriska, plush Masaru pic.
They did this same segment (stunt) with Zhenya. What will happen is they send her out on a regular skating rink where everyone is skating dressed up as a cover and have her skate around to see if anyone recognizes her. Usually they have her do two runs in “cover” costumes (one of Zhenya’s was an old lady, the other a famous Japanese TV personality) and on the last one she comes out as herself in one of her own famous costumes (Alina will be the tiger costume for that). Usually then kids and others recognize them and they do a bunch of tricks for the crowd.
I’m looking forward to seeing this!!! Cool that they chose Madoka as one of her covers!!!
