Not sexism. Simply that when IJS was originally designed, women’s typical tech content was less than men’s, and they wanted to keep PCS and tech equally balanced. In the past quad and this year with the Uber-juniors that’s been thrown completely out of wack, because women can now get tech scores similar to men.

I must say that I've seen my share of anime but I had to look up which anime this character is from. It's one of the newer ones, that explains it, but never mind. She looks very cute like this, I hope there will be more footage.. :biggrin:

Our girl deserves all the GOE for these beautiful jumps, imo these are textbook jumps, worthy to be included in the +5GOE guidelines. :luv17:

Last year, Alina tried to add the Charlotte-2A transition, and she was not able yet to perform it consistenly, but this is not the case this year. And not only she performs a Charlotte-2A entry, but she also added a Charlotte entry before the difficult 3Lz jump into her arsenal (and probably preparing it for future seasons). This is one more proof for Alina's huge development and improvement. She's like saying, "don't worry, I'm adding newer, more difficult stuff every year. So I am here, on the top of my field, and I am here to stay." :thumbsup:

Actually, it's not award, it's like degree/rank, but in sport.

Athlete achieved some level in sport and will receive rank "Master of Sports".
Next level is "Honored Master of Sports". Alina received it after winning gold medal in Olympics.

For me "award" is something what is given to you in honor of an achievement. :)

She was awarded for Olympic Gold. And the form of this award is honorary title.

So this expression is pretty fine, but I'm not here to argued, It does not metter at all. :) :luv17:

:agree: No matter where Alina stands in group pictures, she's very much the "center" of Team Tutberidze now. It must so inspiring for the little girls in the group to train with the Olympic champion.

Candidate Master of Sports -> Master of Sports -> Master of Sports of International grade -> Honored Master of Sports
 
Actually all those ranks just add some monthly paycheck.
Have to be confirmed periodically except the last one.

At the Old days the Int. Master required 1st-8th place on Olympics or 1st-4th on Olympics team event. Or 1st-4th on WC.

Honored Master usually received the one having OGM or some top athlete not having OGM or equal.
