Alina Zagitova

Thank you a lot, zenskate, for finding these photos. :thank: By comparison, even if Alina is still to the side part in group pictures, they are truly revealing about how much she evolved..for the little, shy girl, to a beautiful, confident lady. :luv17:

Our girl deserves all the GOE for these beautiful jumps, imo these are textbook jumps, worthy to be included in the +5GOE guidelines. :luv17:

Last year, Alina tried to add the Charlotte-2A transition, and she was not able yet to perform it consistenly, but this is not the case this year. And not only she performs a Charlotte-2A entry, but she also added a Charlotte entry before the difficult 3Lz jump into her arsenal (and probably preparing it for future seasons). This is one more proof for Alina's huge development and improvement. She's like saying, "don't worry, I'm adding newer, more difficult stuff every year. So I am here, on the top of my field, and I am here to stay."

Someone pointed out earlier that she also did Charlotte into 3Lz in the "Tiger" exhibition last year also.

I actually think the Charlotte into 2A looks more difficult to do because she has the 180 degree turn (or whatever its called) right before the jump takeoff.
And the other 2A she does in her Carmen LP also has what looks like a fairly difficult transition into it.
I'm surprised the GOE on her 2A's haven't been higher this season, because even the jump itself looks better than last season.

what will happen with these fluffy boots if Alina forgets to hide them in the closet ?
Masaru is waiting for this moment ))

Fluffy boots! So tasty! Much chew! Nom nom nom...

(Twenty minutes later)

"MASARUUUUUUU!" :gaah:

And that's the story of how Masaru got shipped back to doggy boarding school again.

Dog who did not chew at least one pair of boots is no true dog :agree:

I laughed so hard reading this [emoji23][emoji23] watching the boots closely, the colors even resemble the ones of Masaru's fur, so I guess Alina chose them very carefully, but they will also invite Masaru to play with them. [emoji23]

I think Alina will need many pairs of boots for this autumn-winter season [emoji23]

and what it’s meant?

The blue check means her account is verified, so it is Alina Zagitova's official Instagram. It's used to let people see whether an account is actually the person's, or just a fan account by a third party.

I suppose it also means that if Alina ever decides to switch Instagrams again, it will be harder.

And to commemorate that she is doing side-by-sides with Daniil (first one is in his stories, second one is in hers)

Come on Daniil you can do it!!! New Russian Ice Dance team in the making.

Edit because I messed up....this one is from Alina's stories:

Lol... they are funny... especially Alina for posting the video with Daniil falling :biggrin:
What is it written there? Try no 3, 5?

just out of curiosity - are skaters allowed to compete in two disciplines in the same competition?

I'm fairly certain, yeah. Xiangning Li of China is competing in singles and pairs now, for instance, both at the GP level. Whether she'll keep doing both though, I'm not sure.

I’ve noticed that he posted a few insta stories tagging Alina when she was competing & kissing the kitten she gave his mother (he still lives with his mother!?). There was another girl from Eteri’s team competing at the same time & he didn’t tag her. Strange.

I love this! Especially the IG story Alina posted.

The Skating Lesson shared Daniil's vid on twitter. Of course they commented about Daniil's 'purpose of movement' being stronger than Alina's. (Imagine that.) And that he was more centered over his knee than Alina. So it just amused me to no end to see Alina's video.

In his instagram, Daniil posted a successful video signed "Attempt No. 5", and little wicked Alina posted a video "Attempt No. 3" with Daniil falling
