Alina Zagitova

Not bad at all for the fifth attempt... they have good ice coverage and speed, could work further for better synchronization.

I’ve noticed that he posted a few insta stories tagging Alina when she was competing & kissing the kitten she gave his mother (he still lives with his mother!?).

In our society, this is not as reprehensible as in America (as I can judge from American movies). Especially in small towns. For example, I come from a small town (now I study in Moscow), and my cousin-grandfather lives all his life with my great-grandparents. Or my grandmother all the time dreamed that my younger uncle would come back after studying in Lipetsk (region center) in our town "And where will I live? With us, until you marry."(But uncle never returned). As far as I understand it is somehow connected with the traditional society - it used to be considered that the larger the peasant family and live together, the better. Also we rarely give old parents to nursing homes (and in American movies they constantly do it), and at the end of life, parents often live with children (like my cousin-grandfather who took care of my great-grandmother and great-grandfather before they died.)

In Moscow, the traditional mentality, of course, is not so strong but here is VERY expensive housing cost, therefore, moscow-people often live with their parents too. For example, my college friend was born in Moscow, he, like me, is 22 years old and he continues to live with his parents. And when we finish university, he will most likely continue to live with them for several years until he (and his parents) save money to buy an apartment. This often happens. Or in the case of my academic adviser was combined scenario (Moscow and small towns) - he lived with his parents in an apartment, they saved money, and then they built a large house in the Moscow area to which his parents moved and he and his bride moved.

I’m not saying that this is the only way, it’s just that with us it’s not so strict as in America (more precisely - in "cinematic America" :) Movies are the only my source of information about this country, I don’t know if this is real in America)

I’ve noticed that he posted a few insta stories tagging Alina when she was competing & kissing the kitten she gave his mother (he still lives with his mother!?). There was another girl from Eteri’s team competing at the same time & he didn’t tag her. Strange.

WHO WHAT WHERE WHY is strange????????

I love this! Especially the IG story Alina posted.

The Skating Lesson shared Daniil's vid on twitter. Of course they commented about Daniil's 'purpose of movement' being stronger than Alina's. (Imagine that.) And that he was more centered over his knee than Alina. So it just amused me to no end to see Alina's video.

:bang: The TSL "experts" - they never miss an opportunity to bash Alina.

The students decided to joke - they launched three pigs with the numbers 1, 2 and 4 into the school. The administration looked for the number 3 pig for several days!

Alina's IG is verified! And her twizzles with Daniil are amazing. I love Daniil, he don't have a problem to do fun of himself. That fall. :D

I don’t think it’s reprehensible for an employed 27 year old single man to live at home with his mother, but I do think it’s odd.

Both of my brothers moved back home with our parents after they both lost their jobs a couple of years ago. In a few months later after they found new jobs, they moved into an apartment together. Living on your own is seen as a necessary step in becoming independent.

He was not with her on the competition. She is the only one senior skate and she is on the highest level and as Eteri said, she need support because of her body changes and pressure atc. Plus you can see he has a bit different relationship with her, than with some other skaters. They joke with each other, like video with falling paper (I guess it was paper) and Alina stole it, or this twizzles video. She gave kitten to his mother.
Yea, he is coach and must treat with all girls (boys) in good way. And you can see he did, he is always very warm with all of them in K&C, and post photos with them. You can say that he post pics with junior girls after test skates and after did not do it after senior test skate with Alina. You dont know if he comunicate with other members or not.
It's totally ok have a different relationship with each skater, till you treat them all well. He is nice with every student. He is very good coach I think. :)

Plus guys, stop discusse if he live or not with his mother. If so, he have a good reason for that and is probably fine with that. It's not our job to juge him. I'm 23, I'm student and live with my family and they still have to pay for my things a lot because I cannot work a lot with my school. It is wrong? I don't think so .. but someone can say I'm old enought to have my old family, flat, full time job, maybe kids etc.. everybody have different life goals, times change, and as long as he (and his family) is ok with that, it's ok, isn't it?

And this is Alina's fandom. Just say in. :) Be kind! :)

Call me "administration". I've been searching for attempt number 4 on Instagram and I haven't found it, but I came up with these two consolations.

Alina's mother's Instagram. She has the perfect profile picture.
