Alina Zagitova

As I remember, in the 2017/2018 season Alina earned not less than 500 000 dollars ( incl.OG prize money , apartment, car, etc)

I think that list only accounts for prize money in the competitions, not things they might have earned on the side like Fed Money, Sponsorship deals, in the case of Alina also, the apartment, the car.

They look just at official placement winnings for the competitions they've won (or placed in money winning spots).

Airweave's President selfie with Masaru, Alina in the background, from the Airweave official instagram.

Looking at their instagram feed they have these fun cut outs of the endorsers at the store so people can take funny selfies with. Can't wait for Alina and Masaru's cut out pictures to start popping up around the net.

What's with the "Virutal Flags" - didn't some other competition use them this year also?

At the GP circuit I only saw them in France, but then again I've only watched Skate America, Skate Canada, GP Helsinki, Rostelecom Cup and IdF this year (for NHK I watched YouTube videos of individual selected performances).

CS circuit I only watched Nebelhorn and ACI. Maybe it was one of the other places from the CS circuit?

Aljona Savchenko commented with "getting better and better" :)

Aljona is such a great person, thank you for translating her comment.

Other than IdF, I can‘t remember any other senior event with virtual flags. But on JGP circuit there were some, I think.

With GPF coming up, I'm rewatching Alina's free skate from last year.

Alina was the only lady to score over 220 at that competition, and it was actually the first time Alina broke the 220 barrier! Will we see her break 240 this time? :)

They've also published Alina's interview from GPF 2017.

Oh yes!!

Our girl’s got a bunch of tricks up her sleeve, I’m sure she’ll have great skates and be happy about her performance.

For the sake of adapting to the time zone I hope she gets moving soon (read elsewhere at GS that Shoma is already there). Daniil was at a wedding today so I guess the whole team is in Moscow when they move they’ll probably move as a whole group.

Fingers crossed for Alina.

They usually leave in the last moment. So i would say given the fact that on the 5th is the official practice and the draw they will leave on 4th.
