I read the YouTube comments about Bobrova and they were not kind with the English translation I read. Bobrova loves Med I understand that. Alina and Zhenya save the Olympics for Russia and it was a disastrous Olympics for Russia. But Zhenya even said recently that Alina deserved the Olympic gold medal and I wholeheartedly agree with Zhenya. I guess Bobrova missed that.

Thanks to Teamzagitova the first things I saw in the morning were these two sunny creatures!
We should reply on negativity with love. I know, it's hard. But if it's hard for us, imagine how it's hard to Alina. How much pain it causes for her. She needs love and support, not another scandal.

This reminds me of a meme I saw somewhere - "Killing them with kindness is taking longer than I expected."

Not everyone loves Jenna so Bobrova is wrong. Med is wonderful but the fawning of Medvedeva by other Russian figure skaters is understandable to some degree but let it go. That we are still dealing with this 9 or 10 months after the Olympics is unbelievable. Alina does nothing controversial says nothing controversial. She is a great Olympic champion and people who didn't want her to win should admire this in her.

If I understand some of the comments correctly, Bobrova blames Alina's fans for Evgenia's instagram harrassment?

If that is indeed the case then we have another example of the Russian skating "elite" taking another passive-agressive shot at Alina.

Evgenia said a lot of the harrassment was people calling her a "traitor". How does Bobrova have any idea that these were Alina fans????

I wish someone with a lot of clout and respect in Russian figure skating would tell these people to CEASE AND DESIST.

Alexei Yagudin has done so on social media, but I think someone needs to actually show up on camera in front of the press and scold these people.
