Alina's instagram post about Vancouver: https://www.instagram.com/p/BrR0rKvAqUs/

This one has picked up nearly 100,000 likes in 9 hours.

As as for youtube, I agree with your earlier comment, there do seem to be a lot of positive and supportive comments below her performances. Overwhelmingly favourable, in the ones I mustered the strength to skim through.

Four beautiful and amazing young ladies! You can tell Alina is more mature than her teammates, I am still getting emotional when I realise how fast she's growing :sad21:

Yes, she does seem so elegant, and in the solo pics too, like the above one. Yet in those pics with "the grownups" like squeezed between Tiffany and Jonathan, she still seems so tiny and elfin.

Yes so true, it's such a huge contrast. These girls are so tiny, and yet so powerful [emoji8][emoji7]

That is the only picture in her IG of her with any medal of any color from any competition in her career, junior or senior. I'm proud of her for making the decision to post it (or let it be posted, whichever applies). I hope this means she will post more and share more with her fans and followers.

If trolls start to invade or arguments break out she can always disable the comments.

And if it really is an agent in charge of her social media, and if that agent happens to be lurking here - Get busy and earn that paycheck and post stuff! Right now! Please and Thank you!

This post is an advertising for Shiseido. For sure, her agent helped with the idea and translation.
I think that only some Stories are Alina's initiative now.

Alina doesn't have a personal agent, and it's a pity. She deserves one. People from Sambo are in charge of her affairs right now.

And yeah, metoo. I'm also afraid to go in the competition threads. I prefer to write something positive there one or two times without reading anything.

I take back everything I said about Nathan shippers being docile. :drama:

Apparently Alina didn't have anywhere to live when she first came to Moscow :sad4: and her her family couldn't afford an apartment :sad21: and hers was eventually paid for by an oil company that her dad had worked with during his athletic career.

Sorry for all the sad faces, I get sad when I think about how hard Alina's life was, and still is.

Also I read somewhere that Alina worked with Tsareva for a while after Eteri kicked her out before deciding to quit, and then the flowers incident happened, but I'm less sure about that, I've never seen Tsareva mentioned before. :

That is one of the big differences between developed and undeveloped countries..Russia has its HDI (development index) very close to the other's big undeveloped countries as Brasil, China, India, South Korea.. Even all those countries having big economies, they still having undeveloped policies and minds. While in a developed country as Canada, US, Germany, Japan, the government encourages athletes through schoolarships, the kids from undeveloped countries choose sports to maybe have a better life (they normally run away from their reality and find in the sport something to believe..) Once I was watching a volley ball match in Rio, our girls are pretty amazing, they have a lot of olympic's medals (2 o 3 gold if I am not wrong). After it ends, I went to talk with one of them ,Sheila and say that she is awesome! We started a little talk and in the end I gave her a ride (took her to her home). She does not have even a car after years of a brilliant career. For me all those athletes are heros, even more heros than the ones from rich countries. Is very hard to believe, have strengh, and fight under kind of miserables conditions, far away from family, etc. The only sport that has a huge investment still being football.. (and those rich sport's leagues as tennis)

(Changing topics sorry I don't know how that forum works ... haha)
Alina's post on instagram seems to be sponsored by Shiseido..Probably that was the reason for 3 languages..

I think she has... an advertising company is listed on her IG.

Probably just as well.
For her own sanity's sake, I would rather she not be too active on social media.

Her instagram stories are very nice.
Although I rely on people here to translate the messages she writes on them.

I‘m very sad about Liza... I truly hope she will be fine.

But can I just say that I love RusNuts as a nickname?

She doesn't work with them anymore. And they were only in charge of the documents, the same thing Sambo doing right now. So, no personal manager. There was an article in The Business magazine about that. And Alina needs an agent, in my opinion. Like any other star.

Me too. For both. Liza has been an inspiration this season with her amazing comeback. Mad respect for everything that she has accomplished with her skating this season. I posted in her thread that she 100% deserves to be on the Euro & World teams. She has earned it.

Also it will forever be RusNuts for me! Thank you to the person who came up with it!

I don't know... she is still listed on that campany's web-page and she still has it on her IG:scratch2:
And who helps her with the translation into Japanese and English?

I want to honor my gift of access to the Forum...did good with it this season so far....only chickened out for the GPFinal and I started to post something on the practice reports but then as I read the comments elsewhere on that thread I got discouraged and decided to stay out of it for good.

Maybe I'll go into it for the RusNuts thread....by the way take a bow helenacm....she is the one that came up with that nickname!!!

I have to say (I'm crazy, I know), in general, I don't care so much about RusNuts (or any other national, though I understand that as a figure skating fan this is the top national to care about along with JapanNats - JapanNuts?). Was kind of hoping Alina would sit it out and focus on Europeans and WC, I'm sure they'd wave her into those regardless of RusNuts. I'm hoping they wave Lisa into those two also now that she is forced not to participate in the nationals and she really wanted to. I know, deep Russian field, lots of very well deserving ladies in Seniors, just 3 spots, I get the point and I understand, but I think that body of work so far this season should count for something. I respect the fact that a bunch of competitions create a better overall picture. That's my crazy take anyway.

All that said, I know Alina values RusNuts super dearly and is looking very much forward to competing there so I'm going to be super excited for her. For me I'll be excited to see Alina compete again, one more chance to see her skate is my own personal golden moment every time it happens.

RusNuts we are coming for you....competition thread for RusNuts we are maybe coming for you too....

https://fluent.express/

Alina follows a page on IG with a link to this website.

I assume there is probably a similar website offering the same translation option for the Japanese language.
