Alina Zagitova

So many goodies from everywhere! Alina's looking strong and relaxed at the same time!

Hello from Brazil, thanks for the reports, keep them coming :)

Lovely to see Alina looking strong as always and super focused.

She has been working hard with Dudakov on her jumps and the hard work shows, she had dedicated sessions with him before her Xmas break and I assume when she returned too.

Team Tutberidze has the team work that makes the dream work, each coach with it's own special focus to give Alina all the support she needs to continue on her path of improving her already awesome skills.

I'm excited for her. Loved to see he goofing around in Daniil's instastories, talking and walking with Eteri, talking and getting coaching tips from Dudakov. All her team doing their best so she can be her best.

She also has a new Russian Team warm up long sleeve zippered jacket. It's all in red, and red is definitely her color. No Golden Blades, but maybe she is wearing new blades, they are so shiny, maybe the light over at the arena just hits them just right. Either way, Alina is Golden and everything she touches turns to gold on the spot.

Good luck tomorrow Alina!!! Smile, be happy and have fun.

You can't keep a good fan page down! Team Zagitova is back with a vengeance! On their new page not their old one but still doing a fantastic job with flowers, banners and updates!

Great practice for Alina today! Her jumps look very good, you can tell they've been working on the 3lutz-3toe, which looks a lot stronger than the past! I really do think Alina will skate some of her best performances here. She doesn't need to prove she can beat Rika like at the GPF or the 3A at Russian Nats. Here, her only real competitor is herself! Best of luck to our girl Alina :)

It’s not like she has to beat Rika or the 3A girls or the quad girls, no she has to skate clean in each competition. She said that the standing is not important for her what matters is for her to give her best shot. A skate worthy from an experienced skater.

I’m glad she’s smiling and having fun. It’s good to see a confident Alina.

you can tell she's been working hard on those jumps :luv17::luv17: there were almost no underrotations, so many of those landings were all the way around.

 She looks so good! I will say that having the Habenera first with all the clapping makes it super distracting for me, so I wonder if it's hard for her to concentrate? I personally think Eteri should make Alina practice with large crowds clapping for her during practice sessions so she gets used to it.

Alina likes clapping :) she said it makes her feel supported by the crowd.

Don't know for sure if I will be able to watch Alina's sp (hopefully I can) , so I will say this now.
Best if luck to Alina tomorrow in the sp, skate your heart out, and regardless of what happens, know that your fans will always love and support you
