Well, it's too literal translation. The point is that the transition from one activity to another is very rapid, without pause or preparation. The phrase originates in Pushkin's novel "Eugene Onegin":

Alina is the queen of discipline and multitasking! Besides her busy training schedule she manages gracefully all her events, always looking perfect ( I love this high heels-black dress combo, but she looks amazing in everything she wears).

No, this is from "Eugene Onegin" by Pushkin. In modern Russian, this expression is used to denote a sharp/unexpected transition from one situation to another. In this context, this means that Alina wanted to say that she has a busy schedule that includes diverse activities.
