I agree. You are only allowed three combos. If you want to repeat your two highest BV jumps, that means your combos will be with a toe, loop, and sal. A Lutz-loop seems such a risk when you can just do a 2A-3Lp combo instead (like what MED is trying to do), and then Flip-Toe and Lz-0.5-Sal. No need to risk a --Lp combo after a difficult jump.

I was wondering too since teamzagitova doesn‘t have any news (and they always do, they’re like the most reliable fan page ever) of Alina having arrived in Japan but given that official practice starts tomorrow and the rest of the ladies are already there, it led me to believe that Team Tutberidze has arrived as well.

Well, official practice starts tomorrow so we will see then. Ladies SP is on Wednesday, I do think they would want to arrive a few days before that. And that video could have been taken earlier and only published yesterday. But we won’t have to wait for too long, we will see tomorrow.

I agree 100% Paji.Likefor me she is the very best, I don't think someone have a better short than Alina. Despite all controversy about that program in the begining, I love it so much. And she strugled with Carmen, but I don't know, I somehow see good thing in it, she fell but overall there are improvements. One day, and I believe it will be Words, she execute it again and it will be huge. But because of I somehow don't enjoy Rika's skates at all - she can do two 3A in one program and I'm like "and where it was? boring, next" so I was trying to be objective and goes with GPF results.
(PS: Don't tell anybody, but I believe GPF results will be just history after Words and our Alina will be undoubtelly on top!!)
I also agree with others that the very tough combos Alina does are underscored compared to tough single moves like 3a and quads.

Once Alina clears her UR issues, I do see her training harder jumps. I don't believe that a 3A would be an option because her 2A is small and the technique is awkward. But I do think she has good chances for a 4F/4Lutz or even 4Lo because even now she reaches a great height on her flips. They'll probably focus on that after Worlds.
And I loved the new dancing video with Moris and Alexei. Her arm movements are wonderful and estetically pleasant. It's amazing to see how well she developed her dancing skills. One more time - big praise to Zheleznyakov, I'll keep saying that. Everyone from the coaches is doing great job but I do feel as if Alexei always stays on the side, although he's the one who actively develops the artistry of the skaters.

It‘s so crazy that Worlds are already there! And it‘s fascinating to see the rink of the perspective of a skater. Especially the stands! So many people will be there. I would shake from head to toe with nerves if I had to perform there.

This is really cool, the arena looks beautiful! Honestly if I had to skate there in front of thousands of people I would just run away
On another note, we have hit 800 pages of posts for our wonderful Alina!
If swear if Alina is the only one who doesn't arrive for the Monday practices I swear to God
