Yeah i get it, i personally was very happy with Lipnitskaya’s deep commentary on Alina’s performances and programs in her first senior year, she was very supportive with her words when Alina had problems with black swan program

I noticed that too and it got me wondering Also Alina looks healthy in general, not too thin like before, glad she eats fine, theres a lot of muscle on her legs, her legs and hands got thicker in a good way, slow replay of 3lz3lo really showed her leg muscles when she was doing Lz and hit ice to jump

Yes, this setup looks so much more stable! It was always nerve-racking watching her long setup into the lutz with the swinging leg
 
Alina has the best fans ever. Team Zagitova is just amazing! So supportive and positive.

I was reading one of Alina's fanpages on VK and several of the posters commented how appreciative they were of the love that the Japanese skating fans have always shown for Alina when they have so many amazing skaters of their own. (this is SO true!) Someone else mentioned that they should send well wishes to the other Japanese ladies because the Japanese fans were so very kind to Alina. Other comments followed from different posters wishing the other skaters well.

My little black heart just melted. What a beautiful way to be a figure skating fan. This was posted before the short program so to me it seems even more gracious. I just thought it was so sweet. The Japanese fans & skaters will probably never read it. Alina may not even read it she will be so busy after Worlds. But it reminded me of how nice people can be and how they can surprise you.

I think the figure skating fandom as a whole could use a little more of this mindset.

Alina is a wonderful skater and a wonderful person. Her fans all have excellent taste and discernment :hap10:

I'm happy because of her performance and because showed she is on the WCH deservedly and she didn't take anybody's spot to the WCH. That opinion was so absurd! Sometimes the FS fans are so annoying!
 
1. according to Russian tradition on the day of an exam or other tests you should blame the person (in absentia) - for good luck
2. can someone share the link to Alina's SP in high res (preferably with non-Russian comments or no comments at all) ?

Was that jinxing? Sorry, maybe I shouldn't have. I'll edit my comment. But objectively, she looks good. Healthy. Fit. Strong. She hasn't given us a single reason to believe that she won't do well. On the contrary, she's been showing us with her multiple 3Lz-3Lo-3Lo combos (even during run-throughs) and that SP that she intends to make this Worlds performance a remarkable one.

It's unbelievable how Alina evolved the entire season - I won't say recovered, because I don't consider she had a bad season so far - but she overcame all her difficulties like a champion, with dignity, work and humbleness. I just pray to see her smiling tomorrow, happy and content with everything that she will show us. I am overly-excited ! :yahoo::luv17:
