OMG! Surely Alina is the youngest grand slam winner ever! The jumps weren't perfect but boy she fought harder than a WWE fighter to hold on. I'm so proud of this girl! Also I'm glad Eteri wasn't at kiss n cry, sorry but I just love Alina and Daniil together. Also Eteri shaking little Elizabet when she found out she won the sliver was so funny:rofl:

Alina - World champion! Finally! I cried when she finished her free... she fully deserves it, after this long season and all the comments and silver medals, she wins where it counts!

This proves that with determination and patience everything is possible! Well done, sweet Alina, enjoy your victory and have fun at the coming ice shows, well-deserved rest!

As I've written in the competition thread, I need a drink. I can't even celebrate right now.

Just one note: Alina could sing her national anthem loudly now. You deserve every point, every success, every victory for you are the not only wonderful athlete but wonderful young lady as well.
