What girl doesn't like to be professionally made up and dressed in designer clothes for a high profile fashion shoot? Those are top brands, Alina has hit home big.

She'll appeal to teenage girls and young women the world over, from any culture or background.

I wonder how she will be presented, your ordinary girl next door or some Lara Croft powergirl type?

Beautiful words. I want the same. I want her to find other things in life that she can be passionate about and that will bring her the same sense of accomplishment she gets from skating.

I like to think when she finishes her skating career she will go on to be the world's shortest super model. :) I'm so glad Shiseido is making these opportunities possible and opening doors for her. I kind of thought Shiseido had something to do with the sudden appearance of Louis Vuitton accessories. (I want that scarf!)

Huge thank you (arigato) to Shiseido and Japan and the Japanese skating fans for giving Alina so much love.

From what I have seen on IG they are going with a range of looks - sophisticated in all black (is there any other look?), casual in jeans and a cute beret, and straight up royalty! Like European royalty with an actual crown. Not a tiara, a crown. Fit for a Queen. The Japanese media approves!

Now there is another b&w picture of her with her skates in her hand. Not sure if it is from this shoot, but it might be. It is difficult to tell what Alina is wearing in that one but I swear it looks like they draped her trash bags. :( I'm a little concerned about that one. Hopefully the final product redeems itself!

Each an every one of her photos are unique and beautiful! Alina is like a true top-model, the camera loves her and she always looks gorgeous. I am so excited now to see all the photos, and I am happy to read about so many important brands that want Alina to wear and advertise their products. They've made a great choice. :love:

Also...Alina would be a great detective or spy, just looking at the beginning of next video I am thinking about an undercover spy :biggrin:

Masaru was really a genius marketing move! :)
 
I'm so glad Alina is getting to full on celebrate this victory! Her coaches are happy without reservation. Her fans are overjoyed. There is no 'weirdness' about her win. She is with her mom in Japan, visiting Akitas, shopping, modeling, wearing new clothes and performing in shows! As a fan I couldn't ask for anything more for her :) It's nice to be able to enjoy this vicariously.

Oh, and I almost forgot, posting on Instagram! Thank you Alina! Let's make this a habit!
