Alina posted on instagram story of a screenshot of billie elish bad guy on youtube with a caption "Are you serious?" and a laughing emoji with the 186m views circled. Haha I'm glad she is clapping back at these people. I'm sick of them thinking they can walk all over Alina with their foul mouth just because she isnt the kind of skater who likes to make huge dramas and instigate trouble and instead likes to keeps her head down. However I'm glad this time she fought back at them

Subtle comebacks are the best comebacks ;):clapper::bow:

I really love those recent Alina's posts, while people are arguing about songs, setting quotas for mentions of reigning world and olympic champion and are "forced to take sides", Alina is just having good times on the ice with fans and quiet mornings with her breakfast, 1, 2, while wishing us good morning. Is this that "new Alina" she has promised? While she didn't lose her golden heart and sweet personality, she is no longer just passive target, she can repel the attacs with ease and all beauty of her feminity.:agree:

I think it’s sweet that Alina uses her IG stories to acknowledge the gifts she gets from fans and show that she is using them. A very thoughtful way to express her gratitude.

I also love seeing Alina with the young skaters from her rink. I can easily imagine her as a coach someday.

She treats every situation like a true Queen! And I feel like she is just enjoying everything around her, and is not bothered by these attacks. The World title marked her "rebirth", and we'll probably see totally different sides of her skating from now on.

Can't wait for it!

It was almost as if she was able to truly feel like an Olympic Champion only when she won the World title. We've seen such a freer, happier version of Alina ever since that moment. I cannot wait to see her skate again!

I agree wholeheartedly.

Although I have always felt that Alina showed a maturity far beyond her years, I think she is even more "settled" now.
Maybe I'm wrong, but since she freed herself of some "personal demons" at Worlds, she has become more self-confident.

She seems to be a young woman now, one who is becoming more & more comfortable with who she is.
I think it is a very good look for her.

I wonder what she'll perform! I'm guessing she'll do two numbers a show (maybe?), so what would she do, Survivor and Bad Guy? Or maybe a new comp program? Although I doubt anything new is choreographed, but I can hardly see her going back to her sp from last year for an ex, so idk. Either way, can't wait until we get to see the broadcasts!

I suppose we will see the "Bad Guy" debut here, and maybe a performance from last season or some group numbers. I don't think Alina will perform one of her competitive programs here, but who knows? Alina can surprise us

Either way, I am so happy for these Ice Shows, I really miss to watch Alina performing

Sweet little Alina did that? Dammmm she brought the brass knuckles! Sort of. ;) it's hard to imagine her doing that but she has every right. I've been making that point for 2 days that over 180 million people have seen this video on YouTube I am sure Alina was one of them. The whole music controversy recently proves to all the skaters that if you like a song and want to use it in one of your programs go public with it and claim it publicly. What is Sofia Stanislava or or any one of the Anastasias had chosen bad guy as their song for their exhibition what would the reaction have been? Not much of a reaction. I have to say I know emotions were running high but it kind of hurt that Alina got dragged through the mud along with her choreographer DanIl. It will certainly be interesting to see Alinas exhibition program with this music. It's not my favorite kind of music. But I'm sure Alina will make it work. Her exhibitions are always excellent.

That song is massive for quite some time now. Everyone is raving about Billie Eilish. Dave Growl compared the hype around her to what Nirvana did in the 90s. It's so ridiculous to blame the team for stealing it from another skater just because she likes it like the rest of the world... Like seriously? I don't think Alina fought back though, she just replied sensibly and in a classy way. Like seriously?:) And you're right, if anyone other than Alina choose that song, no one would care and it's sad. It's a catchy song and the program will be brilliant, I am sure.

It was the perfect reply :)
