Alina Zagitova

not really a lil hamster

Have you seen her cheeks? She was called a хомяк (khomyak/hamster) by her friends 3-4 years ago, and she still is one; and I hope she'll have these cute cheeks for a very long time :)

Do we know when Alina is going to Novogorsk? I just looked up the dates of the shows she‘s attending and she will be the whole June in Japan and has shows again in July.

Why making stuff up......? Alina has 2 weeks in june off shows, whole july and august except for 27.07-4.08

She looks more like a kitty now especially with her new bad guy look

Jelena Jovanovic, she looks tiny in some of her photos next to other skaters, including Alina, so she reminded me of Kosto when she poses with other people haha

Elena is exactly what a grown-up Thumbellina would look like, I guess :) Here she is again with Alina, doing the Masaru pose:)https://www.instagram.com/p/ByhHhpyFwpe/

And here's the "personification of an idealized Japanese woman" (who would have thunk?!?) :)

From the blog of Kaho Kawazoe, a news broadcaster:
Alina Zagitova! The queen of the Worlds was very modest, very cute, and a kindhearted girl like a Yamatonadeshiko* (Japanese term meaning the "personification of an idealized Japanese woman", or "the epitome of pure, feminine beauty")

Another shot from the cooking show (that will air on 15.06) https://www.instagram.com/p/BykETCul8j2/
and it seems Alina's is not only into skating, tennis, football and cooking, but - judging by her left elbow - fighting too since it looks like it found someone's teeth :scratch2:

Bruises, on both my...elbows 😆 for you
Don't say thank you or please
I do what I want when I'm wanting to
My soul? So cynical

It’s from the nasty fall on the ice DUH

Per aspera ad astra. My wish is to have just 10 % of Alina's will. She mentioned once that during 2018/2019 season she couldn't avoid the idea of ending her career. Nobody could have blamed her for that. But this is what true champion do, face the adversity with all the will and strength. Nearly three moths later I still have tears in my eyes when I see her finishing her programs at WC, hugging her coaches and later on podium. For all the hard work and will she deserved that.

You are not the only one, flanker. This moment was inspiring, in so many ways.

Thank you so much, Finley, for the video link. What a journey Alina had, and what a journey is still ahead of us
