Alina Zagitova

That is not allowed; according to Eteri's Choreo 101 handbook for Alina's programmes by Daniil:"§6.1 No Alina Bauer should be longer than 0.5 sec to keep the audience on the anticipation diet till proper competition comes along, for additional shock value PCS points."

It's getting ridiculous... Eteri camp's choreographic sequences are consistently half arsed... why not do a different kind of spiral instead? I got into figure skating because of Lipnitskaya and my interest was sustained by Eteri skaters, but I feel like they're getting lazy and sloppy artistically. Benoit Richaud for a few seasons has been aping the Eteri camp's style and at this point I'd rather watch most of his programs than watch the programs coming from Eteri's camp.

Besides doing something else with the 2nd half of the choreographic sequence, I'd really like a Russian split jump done during the accent after her 3Lz and before her 3F+2T+2Lo in the 2nd half. https://youtu.be/aG6FYV_u460?t=155

[edit]

The comment above is in general about Eteri's camp... they've done an OK job with Alina but not getting a level 4 on the step sequence is worrying and there's still room to polish things and it seems like they don't care about polishing things there. Long program composition in general I find weak with Eteri's camp.

I think the complete opposite to that. I think that Team Tutberidize did a really good job with the 4A's programs this year. I think that they all display the skaters strengths. I feel like all the 4A's programs perfectly show their personalities. I wouldn't worry about Alina's level three steps. I am sure that they will look at them and work on them in practice. They want their skaters to get every point possible and getting a level three is leaving points on the table so they will fix it. Team Eteri pays attention to so many details, just look at their spins, flexibility, musicality, transitions, etc. If those don't count as attention to detail then idk what does. This is just my opinion of course, so don't attack me for it.

That is only at §6.1? It is a thick handbook!

Just watched Alina's FS properly. Wow with that dress the FS is even better (Thank you, Olga!). I love all these details created with the stones. Beautiful clean skate by Alina. Her smile was radiant throughout :) so nice to see Alina so happy and carefree at a competition.

And no tights stretched over skates!
