Well, with Alina off to participate in the highest anticipated ice spectacle in years, she might discover some other artistic/balletic talent inside her: ice dance, performing roles, playing to an audience.

In the few rehearsal clips she looked still a little tense and strained, but after a couple of full rehearsals she'll discover wether she really likes performing in shows.

The writer pointed out that Alina has never been given the chance to maximize the full extent of her physical capabilities as an adult. Maybe if she continues to train that is a possibility for her.
