Alina Zagitova

Hope someone can bring the full translation here.

It's right there, under the link in the post :)

Alina’s accomplishments are no doubt the result of her own hard work, discipline and dedication, a wise eye of Eteri who saw Alina’s talent and knew how to nourish it, but a bigger and often unseen part is all the sacrifices that were made by Leysan and Ilnaz.

and Nadilya Faatovna, her grandma :)

Alina conquering the world :)

I think "Alexander the Great" was 21 when he conquered the world.

Alina is likely to accomplish it while still in her teens.
And the known world is much larger than it was for "Alex".

Of course, he didn't have social media, so he had to all his "conquering" in person.

Couple of comments from Yahoo.jp post with the latest photo of Alina & Masaru:

“I think Zagitova will have good relations with Japan till the end, because she remains in our hearts, even when she is taking a pause. Masaru is so cute!”

"Zagitova is really beautiful. Together with Masaru, they exude pheromones of kindness."

And to think the catalyst for her having Masaru was that interview she gave after the Olympics.
When she talked about her interest in Akitas.
But more importantly, when she thanked the facility in Niigata where the Russians trained during the Olympics.

Whenever Alina posts to IG it's like a holiday for Zagistans! :hap10:

And an Iriska sighting!

:luv17:

Typical cat behaviour. Occupying the space your master just left ...

That Louis Vuitton pencil case raised some suspicious discussions here or there, but was sourced back to being a gift. Alina as a student at least uses it for its intended purpose :-)

Even if she bought it herself just because she wanted it I think she has more than earned it. She's 18. Her birthday is about to be spent in quarantine. Treat yourself!

Soon a legal adult, able to vote, drive an automobile, required to pay taxes ;-)

Alina will spend her birthday with her family, closest friends and loved ones first and foremost. All accessory festivities going with her celebrity status are probably not her kind of celebration, but unavoidable. She is a big girl now, and will persevere :-)

She's 18?!?!

What's that in "kitty kat" years? Maybe 150?

Alina makes every one of her fans so happy when she posts. I read this comment on Sports.ru from a poster, Jesshh -

“I think Zagitova will have good relations with Japan until the end of her life” - they are glad that Masaru has Zagitova.

Gold medalist Phenchkhan in women's skating Alina Zagitova (Russia) updated her Instagram. She published two photos with her beloved dog Masaru, looking out the window during self-isolation, and received many flattering reviews: “Masaru is a cutie” and “Two beauties!”. It is reported by the Japanese portal THE ANSWER.
Japanese users, who read the news on the YAHOO service, were glad about how Masaru grew up, and formulated the hope for Alina Zagitova's early return to the competition:

******:

“A very good shot.” Two years have passed since Masaru-chan became part of the Zagitov family. Now the situation is that the dog can spend more time with his mistress. Appreciate the hours spent with Zagitova!

Adak:

- Masaru has grown. I hope Alina is still training and wants to return. You can’t end your career after reaching the final.

abe:

- Nice picture. I love Masaru, so I want to see more of these cheerful posts.

Of course, I also like Zagitova, and I pray for her success and her return to figure skating next season.

Mad:

- I'm sure Masaru is happy to spend more time with Zagitova. Skaters can’t train on ice now, this is a difficult period for them.

Gom:

“I think Zagitova will have good relations with Japan until the end of her life, because she remains in our hearts, even when she is paused.” Masaru is so cute!

Ksh:

- Zagitova is really beautiful. Together with Masaru, they exude pheromones of kindness.

Hig:

- A beautiful shot, like a scene from a movie. Zagitova and Masaru look happy and healthy.

Ste:

- What a shiny coat! Fluffy does not spoil it at all. I think Masaru is well taken care of.

Now:

- At first I was worried, but now I'm glad that Masaru lives with Zagitova. She is a kind person.

I wonder if "abe" is Prime Minister Abe of Japan. ;)

Happy Birthday to Leysan Zagitova!!
Thank you for your great work in raising Alina and for helping her achieve her dreams. :hb: :cheer:

The post on Sports.ru with Iriska and the biology book has more than 800 comments in a few hours! Some of those have to be attributed to criticisms from anti-fans who managed to find something negative to say about a photo of a cat and a biology book. :palmf: Edwin, you were right. Some people do indeed have a lot of feelings about the louis vuitton pencil case. :drama:

I'm sure Iriska is feeling pretty smug right now since her comments way outnumber the comments under the recent post on Sports.ru with Alina & Masaru. :laugh2:

Iriska = Queen of Sports.ru (or King as the case may be)
