Happy 18th birthday Alina! Eteri finally has a woman figure skater again. I think Alina comes back this season. The only sicking point is a big one. She could train hard for months and there not be a season. Test skates is no sure thing at this point and that about 4 months away. I wish Alina could go out and celebrate her birthday but she is living in a new normal. Most of the world is.

I hope she does come back to competition.

But you are right about the "new normal". And it affects every skater and not just her.

Off topic - yesterday they had some sort of charity golf tournament on TV with just 4 players and no spectators.

I remember exactly one year ago I went to Bethpage Black on Long Island, NY with a couple of friends to watch a golf tournament.
The crowds were so huge it was intimidating. I think it is going to be a long, long, long, long time before we ever see anything like that again.
