Of course nowadays no one would expect the coaches to force Alina to skate to win a specific competition. The coaches should not just sit there and wait for Alina, they can do a better job, e.g., communicating with her, encouraging and inspiring her. I didn't say she trained Monday through Friday. Wondering if she's training Saturdays or Sundays.

Good news is they can film a lot of television episodes in only a few weeks. I'm sure it's a great experience for Alina. It will be very interesting and exciting when we learn that she's back on the ice training.

Though there is no specific footage of Alina's training on the ice at Khrustalny (as there isn't currently such footage of Anna or Daria, and Anna is competing ), recently (during the last two or three weeks) there were pics of Alina with young kids training there, and Alina having a sportswear, so while I doubt she would go there in a sportswear just to do those pictures I guess she's training at least partially.

To be fair to Dave (I know, I know) and Jonathan they were not negative toward Alina and seemed protective of her (for once!) in this particular instance.

But yeah, I agree with nussnacker, (shocking, I know) they are best ignored unless you have a high tolerance for hypocrisy. I get whiplash from them sometimes. One minute they are burying a skater, the next that same skater could make the Olympic team!

I'm glad to hear that everything's going well and Alina's managing to stay in a good shape despite her busy schedule.
Like with Lilbet, I'm more than hopeful it will comeback to normal little by little.
I don't want to have too much hope, but I think Alina maintaining her competitive shape, aka triples and combos, is a good sign. At least for me! Call me an optimist.

Also, I don't know who can do it, but someone should help TAT stay away from Alina. I think it's gotta be morally draining to go to film with someone, who was always negative to you.
I know that TAT is very powerful, and virtually no commercial figure skating related opportunity will take place without her. I think she's been the main judge in every single Ice Age show for the past 10+ years. Even in general, she's present in a lot of media events and shows that sometimes don't even have anything to do with figure skating.
So in a way, it's unavoidable to have these opportunities without her presence. I don't know how Alina and her parents managing it for now.
Perhaps, the best way is to just smile and keep it professional.
