there were no captains in the jump fest, they just took turns in announcing the next one to jump for both teams
Ah ok and I read that there was no draw but each captain chose the members. Anyway, the top skaters are all there to compete
Watching this makes me miss the time when Alina was a active skater 
I try to enjoy whenever I see her skate but its so obvious that she is not coming back and seeing her next to Liza who is still competing is just painful...

UPD: The tournament will start at 17:00 Moscow time tomorrow with the teams presentation followed ice dance, then men at 17:55, pairs at 18:55 and ladies at 19:25 (same timetable for the FS on Sun).

No, they won't. They will hold press conferences though for their teams, after the SP and FS.
