They were supposed to randomly draw the team members. They had bowls with names/numbers ready (which could be seen in insta stories on that day), however at the last minute 1TV cancelled the draw and said Alina and Zhenya had to pick the team members themselves like at a school yard and they were also told that certain skaters were not allowed to be in the same team (there were seeded skaters). That is what she meant. She would have prefered if they had done a random draw where people choose numbers like they do at normal competitions and which was originally planned.
