- You guys were great! you could feel it even through the tv screen that you guys became very close-knit during the tournament, became like one
- Yes, that's true

- Was it had to perform for the team?
- No, because even with the different level of responsibility, the support from the team was stupendous and it charged every one of us

- Do you plan to get together as a team again?
- If there'll be an opportunity, then we're 100% for it!

- Whom did you communicate more with in the team?
- It wasn't like some members communicated more between themselves only; we were all laughing together and thought of new slogans for the team

- How did you like Alina as the captain?
- Amazing!!! She sincerely rooted for and felt for everyone. She was genuine and helped the team win the cup. She was up to the task 300%!

- Would you want anyone else in your team?
- We had a great team!

Олимпийская Чемпионка Пхенчхана 2018 Загитова Алина когда - то испытывала потребность в общении ровесниками. Ребята не хотели с ней дружить, не хотели её признавать. Такая слава росла вместе с Алиной, пока не пришла первая серьёзная победа. На Кубке 1 го канала Алина Загитова не просто общалась...

I bet all those kids are now dying to talk to or meet Alina, be her friend and hang out with her.
Alina found her own friends, like Diana, with whom she enjoys spending her time, and who was there for her before all the medals and fame.

I also thought, that Dima seemed kind of interested in Alina? Not trying to hint on anything, but he seems like a very nice guy. Glad to see that they seem to be getting along :)

This is why I am so happy that Alina seems to have made new friends at her university. What a wonderful experience for her to have. :ghug:

Message to everyone who isn't popular in school or surrounded by friends: It gets better! :console:

Sometimes life changes things, sometimes you have to change them yourself. Usually, almost always, it's both. :)

Indeed! It's heartbreaking to see her refusing gestures and probably saying something like "No-no! Don't give it to me! I don't deserve it!". But she absolutely did as well as everbody else on the team!

I too remember watching this video live. Of course I didn't understand what she was saying at that moment (later I got the translation), but I remember while I was whatching her I was wondering how far this little girl would go... There was something about her (besides her remarkable results by the summer of 2017 of course) that I couldn't explain, I just felt that she would challenge her teammate successfully and would surprise the skating world. I kind of anticipated she would be that special rising and shining star she has actually become by now. Having been lucky enough to be able to follow her triumphant journey gives me the kind feeling when a person close to you has become a star and you had the chance to know her when he/she just started his/her journey to fame and wasn't the celebrity everybody knows today. :)

Alina has a talent (another one among many of hers) to befriend people around her :)
There were two TeamZagitova's in Megasport during the cup - one the fan group, another - her classmates from the uni, who were cheering for the Red Machine and Alina 😁
