The highlight of the last season of "Ice Age" was the debut in the role of the host Alina Zagitova, around which there was a lot of controversy. Tell us what difficulties she faced? Indeed, for a person trying himself in a new business, this is inevitable.
- First of all, I am proud that Alina took part in our project. And she is a very clever girl: from program to program, from episode to episode, Zagitova worked on mistakes all the time - and went forward.
Maybe someone thinks that everyone is capable of taking a microphone and conducting such a show, but I assure you, this is not so. Of course, it took Alina some time - to feel calm in front of the camera, to understand how to behave naturally, to learn how to work with a teleprompter, with a script. But everyone supported her - and most importantly, she herself strove to learn, she was interested.
By the way, she and
Alexei Yagudin will host the upcoming show at Megasport. No longer in a television studio, but in a large hall - so for Alina this is another experiment.
In general, from the very beginning, this was one of my Ice Age ideas: to help skaters find themselves in life after a big sport, when their career ends or is paused. The fact that Zagitova is trying herself in another profession - isn't it great?
- Will she lead the Ice Age in the future?
- It's not me who decide, but the leadership of Channel One. As far as I know, it remained very pleased with how Alina coped in the first season. I have heard only positive reviews.
