When you support your favourite athlete for more than 5 years, starting long before the Olympics, when you get up late at night and go to another room to watch her competitions and live performances, then of course you cannot miss her arrival in your own city 😱

Today, I and a few other guys - her loyal fans - were lucky not only to see her skating on ice live, but also to attend a meeting with her, talk to her and once again admire her beauty😍😍😍 and she is JUUUUUUUST AN UNREAL BEAUTY; when I saw her before the master class on the ice, I just couldn't say anything straight 😍😍😱😱😱 but what is surprising is that she is only 18, she's collected all the gold in competitive figure skating at the age of 16, she gets into FORBES list for the second year in a row, collected all the unthinkable awards, votes, BUT at the meeting her modesty immediately catches the eye, not an ounce of stardom, a calm, positive aura emanates from her😍

Thanks to all the organizers, in particular @pesnyakita_ for such an unreal opportunity 🤞🏻🤞🏻😍😍

Thank you very much to all the skaters that, despite the fierce cold, the small skating rink, showed their programs at full strength, gave us bright emotions, such a holiday thank you - thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

“For the majority of Yakutians Alina Zagitova is just some "invited eminent athlete" but not for us fans, those who have been watching her for several years, following her career in sports and elsewhere. She is the FIRST figure skater in Russia and the SECOND figure skater in the WORLD who won absolutely all titles in World Figure Skating since the juniors! Therefore, for someone it may be just a photo with a star, but for us - it's a photo with a Legend. Only a few win so many medals, not everyone reaches the end, she broke her legs several times, had to learn how to walk again, wanted to quit FS several times but returned and all this was not in vain 🙌 Yesterday we personally saw how she conducts a master class for young skaters, she approached each one, explained how they were supposed to do everything correctly, it was clear that she was well prepared. And despite of all her world titles and advertising contracts, she remains the same sympathetic, modest, kind girl, and she is only 18. After the master class she was given only a couple of minutes to sign autographs, she was already prepared in advance - she had the cards with her photo and autographs ready, her managers quickly began to hand them out and then one little skater began crying very loudly, learning that she had already signed the cards, because the girl wanted an autograph on her own card - so as soon as Alina heard her crying, she immediately approached and comforted the girl saying: “don’t cry, I’ll sign yours too"💔😭 it was just the sweetest and most touching moment. Not everyone had enough time for photographs, she had the whole day scheduled by minutes, seconds. Therefore, the value of meeting with us is even greater.
@azagitova you are the best, thank you for coming to us, giving such a powerful charge to us, your fans, and to the novice athletes❤️"

Haha, I want to see that crying baby's photo!

... Alina is in good shape and jumps all triples.
Glad to hear this! It made us all smile!

After Anna's hard-fought victory, I was relieved and started enjoying my weekend, by re-watching her performances as well as Alina's (Saitama 2019). I understand that the circumstances are very different, and Anna didn't show her full tech due to the aftermath of the pandemic & pneumonia. But somehow, I was imaging, well, given the unpredictable ice, and the possible ISU rule changes, who knows what could happen in the future?

But one thing is for sure: stay in shape and be prepared. And Alina seems to be doing just that! I'm happy.

🔹Muus uSTAR Festival made dreams come true. It presented a unique chance for a schoolgirl from Vilyuisk to meet her idol - the headliner of the festival, Olympic champion in figure skating, Alina Zagitova. As it turned out, Vilyuisk has its own Alina Zagitova - the champion's namesake, a 5th grade student of the Vilyuisk secondary school No. 1 named after G.I. Chiryaev. Two Alina Zagitovas met during the Muus uSTAR festival.
🔹Alina is actively interested in the life and sports career of the famous figure skater. In 3rd grade, she wrote a report "Formula for the success of the Olympic champion Alina Zagitova" and became a prize-winner of the municipal stage of the All-Russian competition of research and creative projects of preschoolers and junior schoolchildren.
🔹During the ice show, the schoolgirl was able to personally meet the Olympic champion. Alina, together with her grandmother Elizaveta Georgievna, wished the athlete further success and presented a talisman for good luck - a brooch in the form of Sardaana, a Yakutian flower. The Olympic champion warmly thanked her fans and promised that she would keep the talisman in memory of the wonderful meetings on the Yakut land.
