I didn't expect it, but - the citation is off the charts; hundreds of comments; There are a lot of phrases taken out of context and, of course, ambiguous emotions of the fans!
Sometimes it seems to me that figure skating fans are ready to defend their opinions more than football or hockey fans, but I think this is great. Having such a rear, athletes can be calm - their honor and dignity will always be protected, and their emotional support is so great that any obstacles can be surmounted.
In the interview, my opinion regarding the programs of Alina Zagitova was not voiced. This did not happen because I take sides and deliberately ignore the other, not at all. The reason is quite banal - the question about Alina was not raised in the interview.
At the request of readers, I publish my vision of this skater here:
It will be about the "Inner Light" program (Eteri Tutberidze's Ice Show "Champions on Ice")
I think no one will argue that this is a great show program, including in terms of acting. Alina looks and feels more open, free and organic on the ice. Having the experience of working as a TV presenter behind her, she now interacts with the audience in a slightly different way, we see a continuous dialogue between the athlete and the viewer, excellent contact and it seems that a little more Alina will wave her hand, smile and ask someone from the audience: "Hey, how are you?"
Warmth emanates from the program, Alina gives a piece of her soul and, in response, the viewer bathes her in the rays of her love. The idea of the program and its implementation coincided 100%.
Of course, this is an indicative program, of course, this is not a competition, but I always really want the athletes, for the colossal level of responsibility before the start, not to lose such ease of skating.
For me, figure skating is primarily an art!
