Alina Zagitova

the performance schedule on the navka show website is for July only, for now

and seems to be incomplete in general as Bukin and Stepanova are missing on the site...

In my dreams, Alina will be replaced later on but I think its likely that Navka and Alina will take turns... On the other hand, Alina has the show in St. Peterburg in late september...

I just really want her to take time off at this point.

Amen...I really hoped to see Alina in an international production rather than a Navka show once again :cautious:

Three months of this would be A LOT so I really hope her engagement in the show will finish on the 30th of July

Don't have a particular problem with Navka show, even though I don't consider it something special, but the duration is a bit too much to waste your summer on even if you are not planning to do anything else skating-wise.

I agree! Like I said, I am not a huge fan of Alina continuously being packaged as a princess (boring as hell imo and undermines her versatility...) but 3 months is just way too much as Alina will be exhausted with no time for relaxation (Ice age and new semester right around the corner then another Navka show in January and the TeamTut shows in April...).

and in my dreams people stop telling Alina what she should or shouldn't do, which shows she should or shouldn't participate in, and also stop whining about every single step and choice Alina makes in HER own life. alas... :ROFLMAO:

Of course, it's her choice! I just hope she takes time to rest...After all, she is not mainly a skater anymore but instead pursuing two degrees in a few months while still training and participating in shows.

You don’t have to watch it if you don’t like it. No one’s making you.
If she takes a job, it’s probably because she picked it for herself. I’m sure there’s an abundance of offers for her within Russia, if she chooses the role of Lyudmila, it’s probably because she likes it.
Since in Russia shows are primarily all-family kids-friendly activity, they tend to be fairytales/musicals most of the time. She’s not “packaged” by anyone, she takes on a role in a show, which is based on a story (poem). She can’t frivolously choose some “packaging” and make up her own self-made character, when the story is pre-written by Pushkin hundreds of years ago.

I don't consider these shows more tiring than the training so I don't think she loses much in tiredness by doing them. It's just I don't think their add much to your figure skating by doing them more than a week. Especially when it is not a tour.

As for @JazzUp 's whining (if you bring your correct translation from Japanese it will be nice) . I don't think people whining, neither they tell Alina what to do. They express their opinion on what they would like Alina to see. Some want to see her on show, others on Urgant, other in competition, others in photo shooting, a combination on of them and so on.

Just copy-pasting Alina's photos from various sources don't make you less "whining", neither a better fan. Actually, it looks pathetic to me.

Hi, I come here and feel joy when I see all the posts from Finley, JazzUp, and others. I love those nice photos, video clips, and links. When something bad happened, like when top skaters left Eteri, I felt so bad, and I needed to come here to find peace of mind.

For several years I was in a place where youtube/facebook/instagram were blocked. I still read each post. Several months ago I came back home, I re-read the whole thread again and clicked each link (although some are not working anymore) - What a pleasant experience!

Thank you Finley and JazzUp (among others)!
