I guess all the braincells that watched Alina land all of her jumps in the second half of her program, a feat never before accomplished in Olympic FS history and never to be repeated again, have died in past 3 years. Much like any respect I ever had for her.
RIP Oksana's braincells. (We hardly knew ye.)

Found the interview but won't post here. I mean there are hardly people who are more delusional than Oksana in the world of figure skating.

Flanker - I thought you were just kidding in your previous post! Then Finley had a quote from her.
She reminds me of some old washed-up Hollywood actress sitting in the lobby of a run-down fleabag hotel.
Talking to the air about what a great actress she was back in 1929 and complaining about "today's" movie stars.
But whatever spotlight Ms Baiul once had, Alina hasn't even stepped in it or even near it.
That's what is so wacky about all her little rants and tirades about costumes, crowns, and whatever.
Why?
Unlike Finley, I haven't lost respect for her. I never really had much respect for her anyway.
Sure I respected what she did in skating. But that's it.
Although after today's revelation, I wish that Jan Hoffman had swung his vote the other way back in 1994.
That is all.
PS - no one can predict the future, but somehow I think it is almost a sure bet that 27 years from now Alina will not behaving like Ms. Baiul is today.

I felt responsibility to each athlete, I first drove up and asked: listen, hello, I will shoot - do you mind? I even have a fragment of a video where Lizka was given the wrong music, I was joking something. With a few more words, we threw ourselves around, these are such subtle details. It seems to me that after a little communication, the trust in the extreme operator is greater. And the athlete is not distracted by me, even when I'm so close.
- You uploaded a video for Alina's birthday - the whole shooting of the run in concert light. Don't you often shoot in these conditions?
- Yes, it was an interesting experience. I had to twist my head even more, because Alina is highlighted. And I see who to shoot, but I don't see the rest. But in the end it worked well. Got some content, got a cool experience, was very tired. Such work takes a lot of physical strength.

Exactly at the moment when she needed to enter the jumping element, he worked straight without stopping and until the end of her number: once-once-once-once-once-times - he spoke, checked the sound, practiced. It was very loud, but she was a fine fellow, she finished the program. And I managed to finish shooting, as if nothing had happened.
And I will soon have a post where Alina performs a jump. In general, she is smart: I managed to do everything, she didn’t stop, she didn’t get distracted - it’s very professional.
True, I had to rearrange the music, otherwise the presenter speaks in the background all the time. I usually leave the original sound so I can hear the blades rustling across the ice. For this I use an additional microphone, otherwise you can hear me puffing behind the camera without it. There is a windscreen on the microphone, and without it, at high speeds, a solid wind is heard.
